  1. I would take the sump off and look at the strainer, take the block off the oil switch and check down the gallery then check the oil pump. Cheers SRR
  2. And if you do get new plates don't forget to soak them in oil before fitting. Cheers SRR

When I have left mine it can take 3 to 5 mins to get the oil through to the turbo, usually take cam cover off, oil cams turn over by socket a couple of times, take oil return off turbo then turn over on starter motor till the oil comes out the return. By this time the oil light has gone out. allways do it with the plugs out. Cheers SRR

  8. As for the lock up, you could always make one yourself, there not that hard to fabricate. Cheers SRR

  12. Also check the bottom plate is still wired in correctly, have seen the locking wire cause problems before. Cheers SRR
  13. You can't beat oem plates , always used them in my turbo. Also I shot blast the plates on a rebuild to give them a little more grip. Cheers SRR
  14. Sound like you need to do a clutch rebuild, they are usually very reliable. Cheers SRR
  15. And don't try starting it without removing plug No1 as you might suffer the hydrolic lock. Cheers SRR

  21. How about using the modded starter clutch then putting a outboard alternator on. there are some very small alternators with good output for reasonable money out there. Cheers SRR
