  1. That's the same as I have on my turbo bikes.
  2. Had no problems with the ones in the picture & when I have looked at the pipe it is closer to 8mm id. Did have a cheaper one split in the past squirting fuel all over the back wheel. I was lucky to stay on the bike shal we say
  3. That's the same as I used on the Turbo Magnum for a head cooler the main cooler is mounted on the forks in my picture.
  4. Reason I ask is I heard you could damage flow by fitting one to big. Am assuming even a small intercooler is better than none at all.
  5. Dear admin I meant to post this in the forced induction page.
  6. How big (or minimum size) does a intercooler for say a oil boiler 1216cc with tdo4L turbo have to be for it to be efficient ?
  7. Yea it's best if the oil pump can be lower then the turbo. Brake line stuff is OK for turbo oil feed there will probably be a reducer of about 1mm in the oil feed banjo bolt. Don't use thin 8mm pipe internal dimension wants to be at least 8mm thin pipe will cause you all sorts of problems.

    Fuel cap

Not 100% sure but have a look at b12, rf900 & slingshot ones.
  10. Lucky you could buy some last time I tried local shop said they couldn't get hold of it themselves.

    Cams

Yes agreed although the movement of the cam wheels could work to advantage the motors piston to valve clearance when set correctly.

    Cams

I would use the 1000 cam wheels. To do it properly they want slotting so you can dial them in, this would also give you a safety margin to advance or retard them if valve to piston clearance is an issue.
  13. But you may be able to stretch the headers apart a bit to get them to fit like the gsxr1000k1 ones.
  14. Looks good, nice looking shock as well
  15. I will take that as a compliment, thank you.
  16. It does indeed & you made a good job of what you did.
  17. Had a good look round your x Et.
  18. Took the Magnum to @Allspeedsdyno today which was an interesting afternoon. We ended up going up to 137. 5 main jets, 2nd clip from bottom on needles, 3 turns out on air mixture screws. Bike made 260.51 hp @9570 revs and 147.33 ftb @ 8050 revs, max boost was 14.55 @ 9500 revs. Not to shabby for a home shed build. It needs a bit more fuel at top end so maybe 140 or 142.5 main jets Nick thinks.
  19. You need the 750 brackets & spacers or just measure the gap and make your own.
