Just to add the super finished gearbox is as slick as a very slippery thing that's verry slippery indeed.

Yes otherwise the tank would have had to be resprayed

1100 slabby shock is longer than the 750. I used an early r1 shock on my 750.

There was no paint even near the bolt holes. Maybe I over tightened it as the Cork had squished out a bit as well.

After a bit of thought I got some 1.2mm brass sheet and whitteld it into a big washer shap to fit over the filler cap. I cut the bubbled up paint of from around the filler cap. Refitted the cap masked it of round the cap then stuck the brass washer to the tank with part sealant adhesive. Am quite pleased with the end result.

Paintwork started to bubble up all the way round the filler cap on the petrol tank. I used a Cork gasket and blue hylormar to seal it. At first I thought petrol had got under the paint but on further investigation it hadn't. Perhaps it was the solvent in the hylormar but I don't think so. Was a bit gutted at the time.

Ride it then fix it up.

Got it of a Polish lad on Turbo FB page. Seems to work alright so far but another member on hear did fit a bronze Bush to his. Might fit a shim my self as it looks like the oil pressure forces it outwards.

Carnt get away with it round hear like you and I don't have a get out of jail free card like what you do.

Went to local car shop to get a number plate for the Harris. Had to show them the logbook and my driving licence before they would make me one which cost £7.80. I then promptly took it home and cut it up with the grinder.
