  1. Last owner got it from a bike shop in Gainsborough 30 year's ago.
  2. It has crossed my mind. I already have a mk2 b12 1216 turbo motor sat doing nothing with less than 200 miles on it.
  3. More than one steel trellis frame designe I think but not co-axle.
  4. Not the same bike but found this picture in my old IOM TT photos.
  5. Man I got it from owend it for 30 years with the gsxr motor already fitted when he bought it. He thinks it had a gs1000 motor although I suspect it had a gsx1100 motor originally.
  6. Needs a tone of work & yes the previous owner spliced the ace arm to the spondon one. Would love to know how it started life. I do know it was orange originally with thin cast alloy wheels, it also has various faring/seat brackets that haven't been usesd for a long time.
  7. I did turn up lol. Never thought I would own a Spondon but I do now
  8. Got my self a early steel frame Spondon says its F1R/10 on the frame. Its been a bit unloved for the last 10 year sat in a damp shed. Man I got it from has owend it for the last 30 year's . But it has a gsxr 1127 motor with only 10200 miles on it and thunder ace running gear.
  9. I have just used the rings that came with the busa pistons on the 3 Turbo motors I have built with no problems, am also running 15psi.
  10. From what I hear nowadays Q plates are quite sort after as its not a problem to swap stuff about on them like the engine.
  11. No they don't OSS stand is also about the process of a build.
  12. I would probably be able to attend this one
  13. I use a 19 row extra wide cooler -8 on my Turbo B12 engine with no overheating problems at all. So I would say yes it is worth it.
  14. 1052 had special magnesium alloy in some of its casings to save weight.
  15. Yes I have had them snap before but only on 1 particular motor. Luckily they just turned out by hand.
  16. Put front wheel against a wall and do a burnout, that should free the clutch plates off.
  17. You have a pattern now to shape your next set up to.
  18. My question is are the early gsxr 1100 and 750 head lights the same.
  19. Of to Stafford bike show.
