The dot head valves are longer

Got a set of ISR's of an old site member Banzai. They had a couple of little marks that I was able to polish out. Fitted them with some titanium bolts as the old ones were a bit tatty.

I'll 2nd that, JB weld is good stuff.

Curiosity got the better of me so went for a look see. Seems like some one has tried to run the wrong gear in this motor there is a tooth missing of the oil pump gear and the one on the clutch is a bit mangeld on closer investigation. Good job it was cheap.
-
Haven't looked at it that close yet, tomorrow if I get time. Motor is mk1 though.
-
I'm fairly sure the clutch is B12 but god knows what the gear on the back is of.
-
This one has 72 teeth and the solid pump drive gear on the back has 64 teeth.
-
Right story is I bought a mk1 engine from a local lad who said he had removed the clutch to fit to a mk2 but gave me what he said was a mk2 clutch
-
I believe you it's the other fella I don't believe
-
Bought this of a local lad the other nigh who recons this is a mk2 B12 clutch which looks different to the mk1, its got 64 teeth.
-
Does the mk1 B12 clutch gear on the back of the clutch that drives the oil pump have the same amount of teeth as the mk2 B12 ?

@Blubber has a 1400 in an efe which needed major frame modifications, there is a build thread on this

So after 3178 miles the Magnum has developed a misfire when getting excited with the acceleration like fuel starvation, maybe I'm riding it faster now I've got used to it . Anyway I've swapped the fuel filter for a new one and turned the fuel pressure regulator up a bit . Noticed one of the seat units lugs had cracked so stuck it back together with MEK Abs mix. All back together and read to rock n roll again

Make the subframe up yourself then take it to a welder to stick it together, it's what I do, I get Will to do my aluminium welding at Weab Motors Malton.

How much can a non welded crank take? If any?

I asked Ian King (drag racing champion) the same question but for gsx1100efe. He said personally he would not put more than 120hp through a standard one. Did surprise me that but then again he didn't get to be the European champion without knowing his shit. -
As far as I know there the same.

Excellent . Brazed not bronz welded ?
-
-
Been brocken down now and has a new owner
-
Make sure you allow enough clearance for the chain so it doesn't eat through the brace

I heard him lol. Dave I might bring the Turbo Bandit as well if needed.
