  1. What is the best improvement for b12 forks other than replacing them before some one says that. Think I read some where a while back that the fork tops could be replaced with SV ones maybe ?
  2. Cut the other side down & fitted the inbetween bits. Doing it this way gives me most of the mounting points for the seat & stuff as well as access to battery which will be in the seat unit.
  3. I got the sub frame with the seat unit when I bought it. Started to mod that tonight with my angle grinder to fit the harris frame. Lots more to at it yet but had to do the mock up to se how it looked.
  4. Cut the old shock mounts of & cleaned the old welds up as well.
  5. Yes will be doing that as well.
  6. Hacksawd the arm in 1/2 at the pivot tube tonight. Need a 13mm spacer making up & welding in then re-weld the brace back in. Sort the top shock mount out on the top brace. Get drag slots made get them welded in, may use stepped drag slots, we will see. Braced will be at least 75mm forward of where they were. Pics are just a mock up.
  7. Mad rush sort of over with work so should have some time for this again. Done a lot of head scratching & no way is the 1000k9 back wheel going to fit the JMC swinging arm as I want it to have the same wheel base as a standard magnum 2 but with drag slots to extend the wheel base as well. Bit the bullet & got the grinder out tonight.
  8. Same thing happened to me with standard pistons, blew them apart between the rings. I fitted busa mk1 pistons to solve the problem.
  9. Your new welds all look to be bronze FB, are they braized or tig braze weld. Looks good.
  10. Bought this cut down r1 nose cone of Dave (katana on the old site) while I was at Donington last weekend, it was on his 1100 slingshot a few years ago. It got hear today so a quick mock up tonight.
  11. Bike looks great. I went to hand the form in to have a spin round the track on my NWS slabby & they told me it had been cancelled because of the delays on the Sat.
  12. I was wondering about getting a set of those gsxr 1000 ones & altering them to fit a oil boiler as most the work is already done.
  13. Looks good I like it, reminds me of tron.
  14. Yes thanks To Paul & Ben for a cracking weekend.
  15. You learn something every day, never seen one of those before.
  16. Looks good & I always liked those nose cones. Are the Harris stickers from harris them selves.
  17. Using b12 risers to help cut down on vibration through the bars as they are rubber mounted, Carnt do any harm I is thinking.
  18. Cleaned the welds up on the top yoke, think it looks alright.
  19. Would make life a lot easier just to extend it
  20. Think I will have to widen it as well as I want to get the back wheel as far forward as to get close to the original Harris swinging arm length.
  21. Got the top yoke back from the welders.
