    RS 38 Mikuni

But it says you need BST38 or 40 (both 46mm spigot) rubbers to fit RS36-38. @DAZ's info is correct, you should use rubbers for 42mm spigots (BST36)

  4. Wasn't really looking for a Kat, was more after an EFE but this popped up on Autotrader and at a fair price. The seller was not hands on at all, it was always vanned to the dealer, even for a new battery! Straight up guy though. Side stand is suicidal so new spring, shoulder bolt and a pack of shim washers on the way. Brake hose swell like inner tubes so braided kit on the way. Intermittent dip beam function so multimeter out today.

    RS 38 Mikuni

Well got everything sorted out on the RS38s . Got new set of MK1 intake rubbers. Lord what a difference! They are some noisy sonaguns with low idle . Not bad at all around 1250 or so . But Wow…

  8. It's a huge difference between them. So now I have switched to the left small one. Anybody know why this pipe Is plugged? They are setup for turbo (not by me)
  9. ACC Billet Engineering makes some nice ones, but their site seems to be down right now. You can still find them over on facebook. I forget which other Suzuki caps fit, some have three bolts and some have four. I think most of the caps designed for the 4 bolt Suzukis through the nineties should fit, Ws, RFs, probably bandits.
  10. Th jet on the right is meant for carbs with an air screw. From what Ive read some people say they work exacly the same as the left jet in carbs with a fuel screw and others say they run richer. Either way, make sure they are genuine Mikuni jets. The knockoffs are often not even close on sizes.
  11. There a shit load of fun bud and quite addictive. Ride safe mate
  12. Finally got a dry sunny day. Took the Blandit for my first spin. He he he Shoulda done it years ago when I was still a headbanger. Farkin awesome.

    GSF750

Hi all. I moved from UK to South Africa last Aug. Trying to import my bikes from the UK has been a nightmare...long story. In the meantime I have just bought a gsf750 ( bandit in all but name) as a runaround. It was cheap, and I'm a suzuki man at heart. I've read that these make 77hp ( 600 territory near enough) and a 112mph speed restriction due to being a Japanese home market bike originally. From what I gather ,it uses the long stroke GSXR750 motor, like the inazuma, but they make 86hp....any ideas how I can get to those figures cheaply ,is it cdi or maybe speedo induced restricted that I can bypass? Thanks for any help
  14. Along with "SEA FOAM"......as beloved of Youtubers "will it run after 20 minutes ?".....which is just ATF/Diesel .....Naptha ...and a bit of IPA . Bit like all those videos showing WD40 doing everything from rusty locks to curing cancer ....
  15. I suspect it's 'Marvel Mystery Oil' - widely used in the colonies to fix everything LOL's
  16. Probably lost the bolt and just glued the cap head In To stop the oil coming out, rest of the engine looks in remarkably good nick for a 28,000 miler, hopefully no more surprises. next sump off and check oil pump suction strainer for crap
  17. Nice one shipmate, I couldn’t remember if I’d had it back from you, it’s old age you know, can’t remember my name some days
  18. Last week
  19. Reading this. I've still got your helicoil kit. I'm sending kris a cover on Sunday. I'll add it in with the parcel. Totally forgot about this sorry fboab
  20. somebody tried to use a 6mm bolt?
  21. Just so you know, i copied and pasted the numbers and the number 1 was added some how. He has changed the clocks to see if that made a difference. No change. This gsxr also has tps. Should it have a speed sensor as well . I'm popping over next week if I get chance ( I'm stripping my gsxr11). I'm going to video the cdi and loom and TPS and anything else I can think of. It's easier than typing
  22. Oh dear. I copied and pasted the numbers but not sure where the 1 at the end came from. I just searched again minus the 1 and this is what I found. https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=131800-5680+gsxr750&sca_esv=d37586a3b186efe8&sca_upv=1&biw=432&bih=810&ei=Pkk1Zv_6AZGshbIP0qis8Aw&oq=131800-5680+gsxr750&gs_lp=EhNtb2JpbGUtZ3dzLXdpei1zZXJwIhMxMzE4MDAtNTY4MCBnc3hyNzUwMggQABiABBiiBDIIEAAYgAQYogRI8R9QlxtYlxtwAHgAkAEAmAFRoAGRAaoBATK4AQPIAQD4AQGYAgGgAleYAwCIBgGSBwExoAe_Aw&sclient=mobile-gws-wiz-serp
  23. I owned one, but found it pretty slow. Maybe I had a duff one or it was just my perception at the time as I was riding a Guzzi Lemans 1 with a race tuned 950 motor at the time.
  24. Always wanted a Kat1100. i bought one but it was too far gone and just moved it on. There used to be loads of them in the Nottingham area, but these days you just don't see them.
