  1. then the GSX-R carbs will no fit
  2. I once had a GS850 and it had wheels "suitable for tubeless tyres". AFAIK not all GS wheels are like that.
  3. newer bikes sometimes don't have the camshaft sensor, they have the MAP sensor located in the airbox in such a way that it recognizes the pulse of (for example) cil. 1. But let's not get too far off topic.
  4. if it has to run sequential ignition, a cam sensor is needed so the ECU knows which of the four cilinders is at compression stroke.
  5. this was my 750L never seen an 1100 in those colours before.
  6. look like Yamahaha wheels
  7. it's newskool lingo for the young and stupid. Not for us old and stupid people.

  9. 1 remove all the rear bodywork and you will find the CDI on the right side of the battery box. 2 hugger standard, just like all Slingshots.
  10. been there once, in 2004 I think. Wanted to go again ever since but living 1700km away does not really help. Awesome event, would recommend, 10/10.
  11. Slingshot 750 '90 has 38mm carbs. The BST36's are also on GSX1100G's, Teapot 750's, and some Triumphs from the '90s.
  12. those Buell front brakes are good, they will handle the turbo GSX-R no problem. A mate of mine has an XB12R and uses it hard on track days and stuff and never had any trouble.
  13. con of airbox is that it's more work to remove/install the carbs. And a bit less top end power. Otherwise I would use the stock airbox, much less f*cking about to get it running correctly. Yes it's best to install the airbox in the frame before the engine. It is possible to put it in later but that involves removing the generator, intake rubbers and oil lines, and using some expletive language.
  14. I always use the tyre manufacturers' recommendations. For a Teapot 2,5 bar front and 2,9 rear. NFI how much that is in old money.
  15. the seals are still available from Suzuki. Part no 13673-44B00
  16. they WILL be quicker. But you will get all the bitches wet.
  17. +1 vote for Hyperpro from me. Quality stuff.
  18. check this out from halway down the page
  19. don't know exactly, I think he said 0,6 bar. Which is around 9 psi.
