  1. that white GS desperately needs some fat front forks to "finish" it
  2. just remember now (what a nights good sleep can do) that on my 2nd gen. B12 engined bike with Slingy loom, I connected the blue wire from the switch to the blue wire from the loom and it worked. Nothing else needs connecting or modifying.
  3. at least that's how I think it is, got my EFE tank sender and fuel gauge working like that.
  4. the switch in the tank is very easy to wire up, it only needs one wire to a light/led somewhere near the clocks, and a wire to earth. Another wire from ignition to the light/led and you're done.
  5. if I remember correctly the blue wire is for neutral signal. The others are to rerard the ignition in low gears.
  6. the oil in the sump is cooler. The head warms up pretty fast after starting the engine, the crankcases and everything below take longer to warm up. The readings you get could be accurate.
  7. probably heat caused it to melt. I'll get my coat.
  8. and it doesn't need an expensive service every other day.
  9. yes, 226mm here too. Stock 1st gen. 600 Teapot.
  10. Except that this one doesn't destroy itself in a horrible fire of death.
  11. put the fairings back on and you wouldn't know the difference apart from the cable-operated clutch.
  12. damn... forgot to measure today. Will try again tomorrow (free this afternoon).
  13. if those are 36mm carbs, using B12 intake rubbers will lower them a bit.
  14. got a Teapot at work now, will check tomorrow (time permitting)
  15. @fatblokeonbandit did you know that the yanks got the oilcooled GSX-R in the black/pink colours?
  16. Anyway enough of this, let's talk shitty Suzuki paintjob desings again
  17. if you mean the old old site, dunno. It's probably somewhere on the net but you'd have to ask a geek to find it.
  18. http://old-skool-suzuki.proboards.com/thread/4767/buggers-fit
  19. B12's have always had the TPS
  20. lock stops will probably need modifying but that's no big deal
  21. Thanks for the pic. Yes it was a lot of work. Actually I don't think I have ever seen it completely finished, I don't remember that paintjob.
  22. Actually they could be Inazuma 1200 carbs.
