  1. Welcome to OSS. First of all, a Teapot/Baboon arse is NOT a Katana. And it is oilcooled. Have you read the forum guidelines?
  2. 200hp on a stock motor is not safe. Like Reinhoud said, at least lower compression forged pistons are needed.
  3. Since you're going to turbo it anyway in the near future*, keep the CV's. * yes you will.
  4. this is probably very popular in the brown seat brigade hipster cafe racer world.
  5. arm can come out now already, you don't need to unscrew that castle thingy.
  6. This is all i have, pics taken from a Clymer manual. Maybe @Upshotknotholecan help you out? Anyway if you have a 750L loom, your diagram in the first post is fine.
  7. actually that's the J/K/L model. M/N has the top fairing wiring completely different. Plugs coming out under the left frame rail and going along the left air tube to the headlights and handlebar switches IIRC.
  8. could be your riding style is more economic. Last year I took my boss' car to Holland and back (in total 3200 km) and my average speed was higher and fuel consumption lower than when he drove it on the same trip.
  9. the 1250 came in two versions with different length swingarms. ABS has a longer swingarm than non-ABS.
  10. a '94 GSX-R 750 wheel is straight spoke IIRC.
  11. Have a look at the forum guidelines.
  12. the 00001 bit is only relevant if it also has the original matching engine and the original amount of rivets fitted. Nobody else cares. So install an oilcooled engine and a big f-off turbo. Don't forget to start a project thread on here.
  13. Inazuma 1200 is probably closest to the SS. Nice TL by the way.
  14. that's the one that should be bottomed out. It determines that the wheel is centered, since it is at a fixed distance from the fork leg (the thickness of the speedo drive). The right bearing is then installed as deep as the crush tube allows. Very small difference but still a difference.
  15. I would never buy a bike from him. - replaces fork seals without disassembling and cleaning the forks - incorrectly installs front wheel bearings (should install left first) by then i stopped watching.
  16. awesome sound editing skillzzzz are awesome
  17. This means no Katana bodywork for sale in the near future? * walks off disappointed *
  18. I knew that already. When they were new (20 years ago..... shit time flies) i maintained a couple of 1400s when i worked for a Suzuki dealer. Of course i test rode them, so i knew what they were like. Last weeks ride only confirmed it.
  19. the head is the same as Mk1 B12, just the intake rubbers are different. Put some Mk1 rubbers on your Mk2 head.
