well.... today was the 1st day of the drag weekend www.dragfest.lt and all the racing got cancelled because of the weather. In between the showers the track dried up, and then the next rain fell. But still Saulius won a prize. In the "best looking bike" competition he got 2nd place. First place was for our mate Valdas (who welds our stuff) with his heavily modified BMW K100. Yes, a fucking BMW beat the GSX-R. Anyway tomorrow (Sunday) will be the second day, and all the racing will take place, qualifying and everything. Since bikes can race for free I think I will also compete with the 7/11. Only problem is that I will have to be there at 7:30 so it means getting up early. Saulius with the trophy:

all of them from oilcooled engines (except GSX1400 and Intruders) as long as you use the correct gear, matching your engine.

that Norzuki would look even more awesome if the frame was 30% smaller. The engine looks lost in there.

The result looks amazing. And just like everything else on this bike, it has been done by himself and a mate who can weld pretty well. Nothing bought in, all home made. No test ride yet, this afternoon (for the first time in 4 weeks) we had some rain. But it should be a massive improvement.

in preparation for the dragrace this weekend, Saulius decided an extended swingarm would be a good idea. So he bought a B12 swinger at the breakers' (most likely from the same B12 I got my engine from), cut it in pieces, and added some bits of profile. The B12 swingarm is 5cm shorter than the 1100M one, he added 15cm, so now it's 10cm longer than stock.

Saulius had the thing dyno'ed today. 180 hp at the wheel, not too bad.

Today again we went for a little ride. Saulius upped the boost slightly, and now in 4th gear it easily lifts the front wheel, in fifth only just. Saulius said that like this it's fast enough. Dyno run planned for later this week, dragrace next saturday. And of course after trying it, all I can say is:

your bike is still spotlessly clean compared to mine. At least we ride our bikes, they are no trailer queens.

just use one outlet of the tap (the one which is positioned best for supplying the carbs) and block the other one. I cut off the fuel pipe and inserted a bolt, with a hose clamp on it it does not leak. Whatever you do do NOT use silicone gasket stuff.
