  1. I had a 5,5" Slingy rear wheel in the 1100EFE, with a 160 trye it fits easily, depending on tyre manufacturer a 170 will also fit.
  2. Here are the setups used by some members
  3. same here. Bought a Powerscreen engine with approx 30.000km in 2000, has done over 150.000km now (in various bikes), with only oil and plug changes and valve adjustments. Still runs well, very little oil consumption, transmission and clutch still fine. Use good quality oil and frequent changes, warm the engine up nicely before a thrash, and it goes on forever.
  4. I've got a complete ZX6R front end (minus the calipers) here, modified to fit Suzuki frames. PM me if interested.
  5. T means 1980, so it's only one model year. Anyway http://suzukicycles.org/All-Suzuki/all_suzuki_models.html
  6. What a nice coinsidence. Gammaboy lives in Brisbane.
  7. Welcome to OSS. Fuel taps are crap on these models, they often don't close with the engine off, next day you find the engine full of petrol if you're unlucky. New tap will work for a while. All the gearshift linkage should be clean and lubricated. Many gearbox problems on GSX-R's are caused by seized gearshift lever/linkage. And the usual stuff applies, change all fluids etc, grease all bearings, and it should provide lots of entertainment.
  8. the only wrong frame for a powerscreen engine, is a powerscreen frame. Big heavy motherf*ckers. Mine had 38mm carbs, full Termignoni 4-2-1 and 3 degrees ignition advance and gave 125hp at the wheel. Yours should give more than that on 36's.
  9. by sending a PM to @YoshiJohnny
  10. same here, 38's on the 1100F engine. More power all over the rev range. When I had 36's the gains were a bit smaller but still no loss of bottom end when set up correctly.
  11. the GSX-R750 J and K (shortstroke slingy) has a head known as the DOThead. On each side it has a cast dot, around 1cm big. These heads give higher compression when used on a 1100/1200, and also have bigger valves than the other 750's. The Teapot 750 has a DOThead as well.
  12. can you post a pic of your cave rules?
  13. just connect the blue one, that's the neutral light wire. The two others are for retarding the ignition in 1st and 2nd gear and are not needed. Or you could fit the Slingshot neutral switch on the B12 engine. It's a straight swap.
  14. I had a similar problem on my B12 engined EFE. Turned out the slides were lifting too fast. The two holes in the slides were 4mm each, I installed some slides with smaller holes and it was OK.
  15. 600 will fit but needs bodging with silicone stuff to make it oil tight. Best get an 11/12 one.
  16. Hi and welcome. Aren't those main jets awfully small?
  17. Yes but it's not a straight swap. Frame will need modifying, new mounting brackets made, etc. Quite a PITA. And welcome to OSS.
