  1. he said pulling the clutch in helps considerably so I'm 99% sure it's a transmission issue.
  2. last 10 pics on previous page are not showing
  3. I already have three bikes to choose from. And besides an RG80 would have trouble with my er.... "ample" figure.
  4. GS500 (among others) also have frame mounted fuel tap. In the bottom of the tank, where the tap would "normally" be, there is a small tap which you can turn to "off" with a flat screwdriver. This way draining the tank is not needed. Migth be the same on the Gamma, look at it from the right side.
  5. Clutch basket has some play in it. Nothing serious, just annoying. Adjust / balance the carbs and there's a good chance the noise will disappear.
  6. 750K rubbers should give the same spacing.
  7. petrol nowadays contains ethanol, which absorbs water. Not good in fuel tanks. So it's probably better to empty it and store it warm and dry, maybe squirt some WD40 in it
  8. I also have one of those. 1/12th scale, from Tamiya
  9. I also had a 750J, with Powerscreen engine. Engine needed dropping for removing the rocker cover. IIRC the engine could not be installed with the rocker cover in place. Remove cover, hang engine loosely in frame, install cover, tighten up engine.
  10. at WOT a 40mm flatslide will always flow more than a 40mm CV because the flatslide does not have a throttle valve in the venturi. More mixture = more power.
  11. GSX-R1100 10:1, powerscreen also 10:1. According to www.motorcyclespecs.co.za
  12. wheelie wire is on Blandit 1200, because gay Blandit owners can not handle too much power in low gears. And to make it easily recogniseable for people of the LBGT community (99% of B12 owners) Suzuki made it pink. GSX-R1100's on the other hand are real men's bikes and don't have such aids. [/serious mode off]
  13. close to the powerband
  14. I almost bought an RG80 Gamma for my son last week. But my wife talked me out of it since our son is only 7 years old.
  15. Hello and welcome from another resident of the Baltics. Better wait till turbo-time before posting more pics of the Blandit.
  16. sticky float needle
  17. Why? They are nice. There should be a good balance between naked and faired EFE's.
  18. no wonder faired EFE's are so thin on the ground.... you buy them all and then rip the fairings off.
  19. and get off your ass and finish it
  20. how about a build thread about that ^^^ EFE?
  21. a good battery should show at least 12,5V. And as Tony says, Volts don't mean everything, Amperes are just as important. The combination of the two gives power (Watts). A battery for a 125cc bike gives 12V, just like a car battery. But the bike battery will not start a car.
