My own fault really should always check timing when buying a engine, turned it over all seemed well until I gave it a big rev found timing was two pins out, as I say my bad
Yes there was plenty of fuel in bowls it ends up being bent exhaust valves so no suction to get it into barrels, new valves in now just need to rebuild it now
Right I've got 38's on a bandit motor was running other day, gave it a rev and it died now it won't start, seems fuel is getting to carbs but no further any ideas chaps
Was looking at mine at weekend , b12 engine 38mm carbs in 750 m frame tight as it is, I've got a dot head waiting to go on just got to work it all out very tight fit
1100 f cams any particular year also another question that's most probably been asked a million times dot head on b12 which plugs do you run or doesn't it matter
Finally got my carbs sorted all new kits in and still leaked fuel found out one of the needles was different , sorted now fitted them at weekend just need some decent weather now to try them out
Does it have to be a dot head off a gsxr or will a gsx750f one give similar result, going onto b12, also I have some gsx-f cams would they improve a bandit if I keep bandit head just trying to work out best way to go
Yes I'm ok doing a bit of fettling just need to get of me arse now this Christmas malarkey is done and get on with it, all info helps guide me in the right direction nelson, cheers guys
Got a b12 engine and will be using 38 mm slingshot carbs with twin ram air filters and cobra 4into 1. Has anyone got settings for carbs i.e. Pilots mains and needle height, cheers
