I was just looking at the slots in the backplate, it is in the fully advanced position.

Hi, the oil seal behind the signal generator on my mate's EFE is slightly leaking. Can it be replaced without splitting the crankcases? TFM does not mention it but on the pics it looks like it is possible.

one of the tricks is to fit and connect the throttle cable to the carbs before inserting the lot into the bike
