  1. I hope pauly is talking about a real Katana and not a teapot.
  2. when I bought the 750L (in 2003... time flies) it had a Yoshi slip-on, which is now modified to fit the B12 engined EFE. Post some pics of the exhaust on your bike and we will probably be able to tell you what it is.
  3. just in case, I've moved it to the appropriate section
  4. And yes the brake torque arm is like that.
  5. Standard 750L exhaust no pics on bike since it has an 1100 engine now
  6. 750L has screws, M has shims (and N in the USA)
  7. another method: on the rear wheel the cast text is on the left side of the spokes, on the front wheel is the same.
  8. you need some immagination but when the wheel is turning, the valve is "protected" by a spoke. So in the pic above we're looking at the left side of the wheel.
  9. 750L forks are 50/54mm. They look like 750L forks in that last pic. My Suzuki Service Manual says Front fork oil capacity 462ml (15,6/16,3 US/Imp oz).
  10. If you take off the vacuum pipe from the intake rubber and suck on it, maybe some fuel comes out of it. That would indicate a f*cked fuel tap.
  11. Look harder. OSS is more than just a forum. Click on "Oldskoolsuzuki.Info" on the top of this page. Then you will probably find this. And welcome by the way
  12. when spinning it on the starter make sure it "sucks" through the carbs and "blows" from the exhaust. If not you've probably swapped the camshafts around like @Blubbersays, with the same symptoms you described earlier. But I doubt it would be easy to make that mistake since the GS has the tacho drive on the exhaust camshaft doesn't it?
  13. most cars do. But we're talking motorcycles here. OSS you know
  14. remember, problems start when you treat objects like women
  15. some good pot also helps.
  16. Hi and welcome on OSS. Ride one more km and it should go to 00000,0.
  17. all my 750 L/M wheels have 6 sprocket bolts, which means 6 segment cush drive
  18. except the 600, it has straight spokes. correct
  19. in the slides there are two small holes each side of the needle. How big are they? They affect the speed at which the slides go up when opening the throttle.
  20. Turbo is the answer. As much low end torque as you want. And then sell me the Yoshi Duplex.
  21. Difficult to say but I read it as the gearbox shaft turns 3 revolutions either way until it blocks. With the gearing of 13/45 that means that the rear wheel spins almost one revolution. EDIT you're right, just re-read the story while not at work, with a clear mind. Ignore my diagnosis then
  22. Hi and welcome on OSS. Remove the chain from the rear sprocket and spin the wheel, without spinning the output shaft if it still blocks you will know the problem is the rear wheel. My guess is a sprocket bolt or disc bolt that is too long/loose/otherwise touching the swingarm.
