  1. You admit to making mistakes, and you seem to learn from them. That's not stupid in my book
  2. The Tokico 6-pots which are mounted on many Suzukis and Kawasakis are not an upgrade. They need more maintenance, are more difficult to bleed, cost more but don't perform better than the Nissin 4-pots on your GSX-R. The stock Slingshot brakes are very good if maintained correctly. Nissin 6-pots (Kwak ZX7RR for example) are better but more difficult to find. And also a straight fit.
  3. Turbo it, then you'll KNOW you have full power
  4. check the valve clearances on cil 4.
  5. Odo reading means fuck all. And even if it does, I'd rather have a well looked after 50.000 miler than an abused 10.000 miler.
  6. Bought my Powerscreen lump in April 2000 with then 40.000km (25.000m) on it supposedly. Now after having been in various bikes it has done over 150.000km, it sounds not new anymore but still pulls well. This is just with regular maintenance.
  7. Isn't that brake line a bit tight? Or is it just the pic that makes it look tight?
  8. make sure the amount of teeth on the driven gear is the same.
  9. Mine looks like the top one (8 rows) and is 410mm wide
  10. Teapot 600 cooler is 410mm wide
  11. He's talking about the crankcase breather FFS
  12. Of course it was, the wheels are the wrong colour. #WhiteWheelsMatter
  13. E-24 (Australia), E-22 (W. Germany) and E-39 (Austria) 1,0 turn back (didn't see that right away... I blame the Desperados I just had)
  14. factory service manual says 1 1/8 turns back, except E18 market (Switzerland) 1 3/4 turns back.
  15. On my Mk1 B12 carbs the choke plunger sticks out 7mm in the closed position.
