the favourite forks for the bandits is GSXR1100 ones BUT !!! they are getting really hard to find in good nick and if you do you will pay high for them, the GSRX 750 (early ones) will do but they are a bit shorter than the 1100's. their are others that people use of other makes. the problem is a lot of USD's are a bit shorter than the bandit forks and can cause handling and clearance problems, and it isn't a cheap conversion as you have to think of the wheel/calipers/mudguard and spindle. also the speedo drive. the steering stem will also have to be changed.
  2. thats in a bad way after the lapping maybe a blob or two welds ? yeah i know its crude as fuck but if it gets you on the road for a while till you can find a good crank.
  3. I knew from the start it had to go in them colours, i think its the most popular one ???? if not then its what an ET should look like in my mind but its also good to be different
  4. just think on, the 750 pivot is 14mm where the 1100 is 16mm so it'll need a sleeve or top hat spacers.
  5. 1200 bandit swingarm with shock mounts welded on.

didn't they do a limited run of the 1000's ? a lot less than the rest !!!
  7. What i was trying to say is, Suzuki do supply gaskets in multi packs as ive seen them first hand, im talking about smaller gaskets NOT head gaskets, i was trying to give the dealer that supplied Toni's gasket the benefit of the doubt !!!!!! he might be telling the truth about the head gaskets coming in a multi pack. end off.
  8. where the fuck did i say "10 head 1100 EFE gaskets" ???? I SAID some gaskets come in multi packs and some come individually wrapped. this is not made up as ive seen it first hand after working in several motorcycle dealers. they also do it in the car trade as i worked in the stores at a car dealer. how many bike shops have you worked in ?
  9. this is true Toni, they do send packs of gaskets to dealers and they just pick one out to give the customer. but some gaskets come in individual packets
  10. my mates got a 400 katana with a 1200 bandit engine in it, he had to modify the frame a bit to get it in and also did some bracing. anything is possible.
  11. the float valve seat O rings can harden over time and crack, when they do it gives the same symptoms as a float valve not sealing.
  12. one of my favourite films, my first born is named after the devil child
  13. when my after market screen ever fecking turns up i can do it for you
  14. Ive rode a few T and GT 500's they are great bikes, quite a bit of low down torque for a two stroke. almost feel like a four stroke.
  15. what I do is match the ign key to the petrol/seat locks. if the key goes in then you can modify the plates inside the lock. its fecking fiddley but doable and smallish fingers helps.
  16. bloody hell, 3 sets of carbs can't all be wrong !!!!!! what about a crack/hole in the inlet tract of the head ? just grasping at straws now
  17. yeah you'll have to wait till next year the big tank is way much better that the smaller one.
  18. nice, what year is it ? just got mine done as a historic vehicle.
  19. i had to google "epitome" had no idea what it means but now i know, cheers. theirs a lot more bikes on here much better than mine though
  20. I have a B12 swinger in my 750 ET, i just used a sleeve. i found an aluminium tube on the bay of E with a 20mm O.D and a 14mm I.D. cut it to the length i needed and slotted it in. it was a very snug fit which is good so no play what so ever.
  21. has someone welded a brace on your frame at some point ? looking at mine it doesn't have one but i was just thinking its possible to make one that bolts to the front engine mounts.
