  1. Don't think there is but I might be wrong.
  2. Yes but you will have to trim the knuckle.
  3. Took a few mm of the bottom crank case mount, the engine is just to say off centre to the left now but the lock-up clutch fits with a 10mm gap to the frame so should be able to get a case of some sort on as well time for a beer
  4. Well I've discovered how thick the top crank case is while cleaning it up .
  5. Had a play around with a B12 bottom end. Got a counter bore tool then removed quite a bit of material from the top left engine mount on the top crank case I'll brace it up later. This has allowed the engine to move further to the left without altering the frame. Need to take a couple of mm off the bottom one as well. Don't think this will allow me to fit a lock-up clutch but I will be able to get the cover off without removing the engine from the frame.
  6. Cheers Dan, I'll ask Sean about heavy duty springs. Plan is to fit the 600 5 spring clutch to a B12 clutch, may be the busa springs will fit
  7. So the bottom back engine mounts on the frame were only 10mm which had 1/2 snapped bolt in when I took the motor out. Drilled them out to 12mm and found a suitable bolt for it. Previous owne had cut the top right (in pic) engine mount down at an angle and had a penny washer in there as a spacer. I squared it up which gives me an extra hole 3mm movement to the left for the engine. Just for fun I tried the back Dymag for size in this swinging arm setup and it don't look to be a million miles away
  8. GSX, gsxr slabside and slingshot are straight swap with maybe steering lock stop alterations. Later gsxr k series will fit with bearing swap. Any setup can be made to fit with a little ingenuity and modification
  9. You can clearly see how much the engine is out of center in this picture.
  10. Got a bit of motivation from the Steve Burns one for sale so thought I'd see about shifting the engine over to the left as it wasn't central which will give me a bit more room to get the clutch cover off. I left the motor in until now for the turbo mockup. Recon I can move the lump 10mm which should at least give me room to get the clutch cover off. Whipped the engine out for a look see .
  11. Ever watched that vid of Robert Dunlops back wheel collapsing at the TT. Some people say not to use carbon fibre wheels on the road but I do as do others on this very site
  12. Even the 3 spock gsxr LO wheels I used on the Harris are known to have week front wheels, just try find a good second hand one. Hopefully your saxon wheels will be wright.
  13. Don't look that strong to me. Wouldn't use old mag Marchesini or Dymag either, Astralight I would, they were still making new ones until a couple of years ago.
  14. I know those wheels look cool but I would be a bit dubious about using them. Well the way I ride anyway.

    7/11

Though it was only the 750j/k frame that was physically smaller than the 1100 slingshot ones making the j/k the only true 7/11. Excluding slabbys ove course.
  16. I also like the look of the stock swinging arm.
  17. There not all the same it depends who made it. This one is a mag 4 style on my mag 1.

  19. coolio, some times it's just the simplest thing that get overlooked.
  20. Yes there about 2mm down the bore on a 1127 and the 1157 standard block.
