My origanl aim was 1hp per 1kg like the early r1 claimed, a turbo made it easy once I figured it out as couldn’t afford to farm that out and I like to learn new stuff. I think your aim is doable but I recon it'll weigh about 170kg fully fuelled. -

My Harris is 208kg fully fuelled but the turbocharger is quite heavy. -
As said Mr Yoshimura moved the top shock mount forward and down to improve handling, this is also a popular upgrade on older Z's.

@Wescooley19has done a few conversations similar to this for customers.

Dave Solaman of Butchered Classics. Bit o bracing n it'll be right. Not the first time it's been done and won't be the last. Take a look at Brian McCall of Centurion Motorcycle Projects 2 race GS1000 bikes

clivegto replied to Dezza's topic in Oil Cooled
38 and 40 mm carbs use the same intake rubbers, the 89 Chinese dot head rubbers won't fit. -

clivegto replied to clivegto's topic in Water Cooled, V-Twins, Singles and 2-strokes
Yea it's ÂŁ54.50 on the bay though which seems a little expensive. Yea I've been doing a bit of a search resulting in America twang answers lol. -
On a gsxr1000k1 when disconnecting the exhaust survo to fit an aftermarket exhaust can the wires just be disconnected ? Is there a fault code comes up on the dash ? and if so how do I fix it ?

Some people on hear have fitted gsxr 1100 and Bandit 1200 liners to air cooled blocks to fit bigger pistons.

Still in business as well. Always loved the Martek big tube frames back in the day.

Magnum Turbo only has a couple of mm each side fin to frame clearance at front also. -
I took this picture in the IOM quite a few years ago now, it's not exactly where I'm going with this one.

Bang a turbo on and you get both my Harris is making 260hp and 148 ftlb. That's said I'm planning on building a very similar ET motor to this one. My mate Si had a K4 1000 with a Yoshimura map on it making 180hp and the power delivery was brutal. There wasn't a lot in it in the real world riding on the road comparing it the the 230hp Scratcher at the time. It will be interesting to see your comparison with these 2 builds. -
