  1. put the no,s into Gearing Commander and see the difference they make
  2. yes ....post edited "I did 3 gallons not Lts" "reading posts on dam phone again" as you say 3 Lts would be 2.22Kg using 0.74g Lt...............
  3. 185kg with 3 litres of fuel that's some weight loss..."170Kg with out fuel"...given a 2016 GSXR 1000 tips the scales at 204Kg..... tell us the secret to the weight loss...............as I,ve struggled to get mine down to 220Kg even with a lighter engine............... back to the clutch a GSXR 1000 has about 170bhp power is very liner with no spikes and no huge torque fig ..and the stock clutch copes if not abused . it has a nicely engineered smooth cable and run ."wheelies and drag starts soon have it over heating and starting to grab then slip"..... fatty has "lets be generous" 130bhp.....which come,s in far from smooth and a load more torque....the stock clutch copes just about ok with this if in good order .. but poor cable run wrong cable / clutch perch poor adjustment worn clutch hub non stock friction plates / warped steel's and H/D springs... conspire to make its operation heavy.....
  4. Less torque and the bikes are half the weight of 80,s stuff ..
  5. Correct btm one is Blandit
  6. They made two frame,s with adjustable head stocks if I recall. And they looked fragile to say the least....
  7. Yes if you drop a ball bearing in the hole 1st
  8. Another option is Fitting a dowel "properly" unlike Suzuki's poor attempt on the GS1150 ... I've run both welded and non welded doweled......both work..... you just need to be-careful no to put excess heat into the rotor when welding and disturb the glue / resin that hold's the magnets in
  9. what set up are you thinking / planning ?
  10. If you search starter clutch in the air cooled section there are a no of threads on the subject....
  11. Not that far out......need 2 x as much methanol than petrol so yes big jets ....and a Big spark to light it.... Mikuni used to do methanol kits for some carbs ... But a set of no drill's is cheaper....a draw thru on Methanol would be cool "Pun intended"
  12. Current version with higher poundage rear spring on reworked k6 shock
  13. LoL... I'm a lardy arse since I gave up smoking about 10 years ago.........so makes no difference ..turbo takes up the slack............... However we always used to send Little Paul off to the crapper to lose that extra pound before racing ....
  14. Much Lower..............This is low......... The arms blandit but the linkage and shock set up is 1100L ....shocks been reworked and re-sprung for the longer arm
  15. I use adjustable dog bones....rose joints and turnbuckles from Eblag you can get an idea on length...buy taking existing off and lowering it to someware near and measure new centres.... in the past I used to just have 2 sets off bones and just swop them.....but it's a pain so do adjustable now.....
  16. Yes that's high "still" for drag racing you ideally want the rear wheel spindle to be higher than the swinging arm spindle with the rear shock fully loaded "compressed " as you launch.....you can sort the front end to match by a combination of dropping in the yokes and a strap.....
  17. A pic would be good......a poorly set up rear shock my we'll be part off your traction issue....and tyre pressure can play a big part....
  18. Paddock stand to bike night ................
  19. How's £20 posted for the lot ....
  20. Duckndive
