Just loads of faffing really, and doing jobs as and when you see them. I'm good at delegation.

Just to add to pressure the CHRA has not arrived today. Which looses me this weekend and Monday night after work going to FBM to collect. Did I say that the bike needs to be ready for Wednesday morning?

Bike successfully in Yorkshire, got a Wedding tomorrow for Dodge to which I am the best man... speech....

That gives me Friday morning/afternoon to go over things, seen a few drops of oil from the sump, Jess put that on so at least I have someone to blame.

Friday

Wedding done it was time to finish off those loose ends.. so I thought.

Team Holland like a well oiled military machine we're ready as ever whilst I was faffing in the corner...

quick test ride revealed that the bike would not pull over 5krpm. We started looking for the source of the fault.

with the help of current wheelie record holder Egbert Van Popta, we couldn't find all that much wrong with it. Put it back together in the vein hope it would just disappear.. it didn't. Bottom lip out, kicking the dirt... then I remembered. Remember those carb slides l fitted.... that are currently sat in a box in my shed back in Cheshire... yeah..

During all this it became apparent that with me being so rushed from wedding duties n all I'd forgot some important things..

Box of Top speed sprockets, chain guard, back protector, sweets.

It was decided that I would go to Elvington and setup whilst Hannah (Newly renamed) Rodgers and my lovely lady Jess would embark on a mercy mission back to Cheshire from Yorkshire to collect the said missing items and the pesky carb slides.

So I setup

and started to strip the bike in prep for the delivery of parts.

i waited, which slowly became.. we waited. By this time the Wheelie Family were starting to bark at the moon and boogie to any DAB station they could find.

My little family returned bearing gifts! I love these guys xx

Then like some sort of Moto Gp trained race team people just jumped on my bike to help change the sprockets, whilst I fitted the carb bits and with @Zepp making a chain guard to fit the bike. About midnight to 1am time the bike was done and dusted with me extending my gratitude to those that pitched in.

(Pics to follow here later)

Race Day 1 (Saturday)
