This is looking awesome, love the shape of the fuel tank! :tu

Cheers man.

Because I lifted the oil cooler a bit the bottom yoke touched the top cooler mounting points so Ispun a couple of spacors up onthe lathe to fit under the lock stop bolts.

looking at it Clive, you might have to swap the two top plug screws for something a little shorter, looks like frame will be close!

That thought had already crossed my mind mate or maybe sunken blanking plugs.

This arrived today its lovely bit of kit, had to change the top two plugs as Steve suggested but it does fit, hooraaaa :D. Not sure what the oil fitting size is though as an8 is to big & An6 only screws on a couple of threads? @Markz9IMG_20200711_174044.thumb.jpg.79db56415efcc122e439316288198bb0.jpgIMG_20200711_174056.thumb.jpg.10650ee23dba64e23cc663313d39b72c.jpgIMG_20200711_180628.thumb.jpg.df3deef0f5f7f7dd5881c32298b7ff06.jpg

Won't to use an8 oil pipes but space is tight. Had a rummage through the scrap heap & found a old oil cooler with an8 fittings. Chain drilled a few holes round one of the fittings pulled it out & cleaned it up. Drilled part way through it then tapped it out with 9/16unf (An6) & hey presto I have a short an8 to An6 adaptor. IMG_20200712_133131.thumb.jpg.ba2dae63ec49c08c6bcbdb0b7dd1fec6.jpgIMG_20200712_133552.thumb.jpg.45eb0a3357ebb2a1dc0f3d633aa930dd.jpgIMG_20200712_135028.thumb.jpg.6ea0854d5cb4253e0776d66e3dca2f8d.jpgIMG_20200712_140249.thumb.jpg.ccfec8a12f32403a340bf0c5d7b3b589.jpgIMG_20200712_140528.thumb.jpg.61582e7a693ffca43ad83ee3faa68182.jpg

Turns out a harley tap fits the Harris tank. IMG_20200721_151808.thumb.jpg.9f80ae4a97cbf6204c2f2f1aba961239.jpgIMG_20200721_151735.thumb.jpg.8260ac62e241dd2ce336e26a5d031195.jpgIMG_20200721_151546.thumb.jpg.97cd6918e8b29d7c76ba702c6b400eaf.jpgIMG_20200721_151446.thumb.jpg.d0cbd0d92c1454f5d42322efdfb1088e.jpg

@clivegto Hi, do you have a link or details on where you got this petrol tap ? I have a Mag 4 tanks that I am assuming has the same thread on it. Easier than having the tank adapted to fit a pingle tap. cheers

IMG_20200725_183710.thumb.jpg.408b168c5284f1d8ebaad8b5896967b0.jpgHad to think about how to route the main oil cooler pipes as the cooler is mounted on the yokes & moves with the steering. Had a few mock ups before the final decision. This is what I have done, the cooler pipes have swivel fittings at both ends the pipes cross over each other underneath the cooler & the bottom yoke, fittings to the cooler are 90 degree ones but are two different lengths so they don't bump into each other where they cross over one another. Made some brackets up to hold the pipes in place to stop them touching the head cooler which is fastened to the main frame. Going into the sump are also 90 degree elbow swivels but the same length. Haven't finished the exhaust side completely yet as the exhaust is not yet been fabricated. Pipes do move through the brackets I made but only 5mm backwards & forwards so don't think this is a problem at all. IMG_20200725_180126.thumb.jpg.75a2b3e39c29f11a747893acfe6dcb54.jpgIMG_20200725_183859.thumb.jpg.d66d82d250dfbc4cb3a840dcc0e68946.jpgIMG_20200725_173750.thumb.jpg.16f071994992f64a25cafd9026c18825.jpgIMG_20200725_173816.thumb.jpg.f9fd5c1877f631cd4b4f0231ec3f9f32.jpgIMG_20200725_175252.thumb.jpg.56e7007d041ad9b40d96d7b3768bfe9e.jpgIMG_20200725_175122.thumb.jpg.77e02f97e1fb6fee9b65f40e0d7d6198.jpgIMG_20200725_175040.thumb.jpg.1357970d7786dd1d569d4cfe0af9921c.jpgIMG_20200725_184709.thumb.jpg.8b6ec7715eca5926d97f26f338b9fc2d.jpg

Didn't have any means of fastening the corbin seat to the frame but it has 2 m6 bosses that have been added to each side of the frame presumable where the last horrible seat unit was bolted on. Set about making a bracket to bolt the seat to the frame out of 25x3mm mild steel bar. After a bit of cutting, bending, welding & shaping I had a bracket that fastened the seat to the frame without touching the tank as well. IMG_20200728_164555.thumb.jpg.f4e74aa0bd3ee371912b8e6fac45389b.jpgIMG_20200728_173342.thumb.jpg.42f5c45e1fbca3bf4c5e37b503ccdfb8.jpgIMG_20200728_173227.thumb.jpg.4c5470d2342b73c350ffeae97845237f.jpgIMG_20200728_173611.thumb.jpg.3dbe32370f9e09f0daf4e6074b870457.jpgIMG_20200728_173936.thumb.jpg.bc26b804d7c9401e4b9cb5bc896755a0.jpgIMG_20200728_173919.thumb.jpg.ce98e95902fb83146a08c99e106d210d.jpg

I should have shares in Torques, got some more an8 fittings for the feed side of the head cooler as wasn't happy with where the piping came round the back of the engine. Some of the fittings are for the main cooler sump connection. IMG_20200730_145012.thumb.jpg.eb20e8fc83140bfa15cd6ad1f25cbef8.jpgIMG_20200730_152256.thumb.jpg.3047fcb866df3cd6ac7422c3e8b5c411.jpgIMG_20200730_163639.thumb.jpg.6d8c5e2082568d96f04f60659a323bd3.jpgIMG_20200730_163605.thumb.jpg.eca22d32f3a6731640a260f9cddab1cb.jpgIMG_20200730_163658.thumb.jpg.ae886dc1c07b67895ad6dd9f4a13a290.jpgIMG_20200730_163936.thumb.jpg.48dbbb1a42314bf7a539816f079066d5.jpgIMG_20200730_163600.thumb.jpg.e0d14e0c52c76a9faa38117abbf79ab3.jpg
