Katana 1100 4into1 exhaust

Hi All

 

Has anyone got suggestions on a decent exhaust that the collector is flat, instead of all 4 down pipes going into a tube?

 

The problem I've got is that the Harris pipe I'd planned to use hangs too low and will scrape before I bottom the suspension out.

I plan to use the tallest profile tires I can, but I'm still concerned .

Any suggestions appreciated

the dudette has a  set of sebring headers and collector on her 1100, it has a 4 into 1 flat collector, I think exhaust craft based in Whitehaven can do you a similar [if not better] set up in s/s.

I will recommend Exhaust Craft - he recently made me a spiffing set of headers and a collector, and did not charge a fortune for doing so.

My 1100 efe also has a sebring flat collector box and down pipes, its got quite a big bore as well.

Yep Sebring has the flat collector you need

marving ones are nice, black chrome too... little on the loud side but nicer collector. quality seemed ok on mine

Cool project. I have a similar set-up and a Marving. I'd buy the Master as my Race is annoyingly noisy.

As requested by R1g, I have posted a pic of my EC headers/collector. I am sure Ec would do the collector with the headers all side-by-side if requested. There is a picture of this arangement on the EC website. Shame about the pic quality but the size restrictions do not enable me to post a better pic.

I have Delcevic Bandit 1200 downpipes in my GSX 1100 EFE. It´s not a flat 4-1 but it is quite close to the oil pan.

No, it´s are Delkevic made downpipes for bandit 1200.

Hindle make a stainless steel 4-2-1 that hugs the oil pan ..... gsxr11......i seem to recall they fit the aircooled lumps as well . had one on my old fighter .
