the std nissin 90mm spaced calipers fitted on my snowflake wheels - there was a ball hair space between the caliper and the spoke mind but it never caused an issue... not sure if others would disagree but i never had an issue with them - i played with spacers a lot i recall to get it lined up ok

90mm spaced calipers will bolt onto an efe... so efe calipers won't therefore bolt onto a kat. a kat doesnt have 90mm spaced mounts

I have a set of TK caliper adapters, spacers, nuts n bolfs etc to use with kat forks and std discs. 4 pots with 90mm spacing. i dont have 50 posts so cannot sell on here at the moment. i took them off as i changed my frontend to a b12. rear caliper ona kat is good though... i would maybe get some HH pads but other than that its a very good, albeit large, caliper.

thanks... looked on alphasports and yeah 600 and 900 are different.... some more fucker on Eblag is gonna be shafted when they buy one thinking it'll fit another... which slingy mudguard did you look at that was similar?... a few of the RF part numbers differ too 53111-17C21 & 53111-17C11 - both RF900 but different years

appreciated helps to widen (and narrow) the search... i'm seeing on Eblag rf900 and rf600 are both in the title if i do a search for the 900mudguard... i presume the 600 is the same as the 900 in that case? sorry for dumb questions but no knowledge on these is, um, limited

morning! i'm putting a b12 frontend on my katana and was wondering what the choices were for the front mudguard besides the obvious... the b12 mudguard looks a little fat to me towards the front, and seeing as i don't currently have anything, wondered if something else fitted... i realise if i had the brace it would be a case of drilling and bolting but wondered what others have used that looks a little more in keeping... also, are b6 mudguards a fit at all, they cost a load less on that auction site ive noticed? thanks all.

thanks all... to be honest it looks like the stuff i have is too entry level with no adjustment other than spring and oil to make a difference... and nothing i could fins used 41 diameter legs with that spacing... i was going to get some yokes made but as i say, the forks themselves are mediocre with no adjustment... i think i need to bite the bullet and buy a complete front end that will bolt in and i can stop fucking around with trying this/that and the next thing... does anyone know if anything will bolt straight into my kat frame? gsxr slingshot i thought were close? b12 with a stem swap and top yoke for clip-ons?... dont need a speedo drive as im going to use koso clocks anyway...

i have a complete front end ready to go in - katana was 37. it came off a bike that was used at a college to learn on so essentially 0 miles... im cheap, thats why its 41

afternoon all, im wanting to swap the front end of my katana... i have a complete front end off another bike so need some yoke info please n getting them on... i have another stem i can use without destroying mine, so that can be pressed into something else if needed, but and before i go and get something made... i was hoping someone would know if anything here had their yoke fork centres at 214mm that took a 41mm leg? i see a load of newer usd stuff is 214 spaced but they're all along the lines of 50 odd mm spacing so too big a hole... would like to carry on with clip-ons so a flat top yoke would be ideal too cheers

tbh the actual quality of mine seemed fine too... their clamps were shite so i replaced them but the actual link pipe and can seemed ok, albeit too loud but that was my problem and they do make a variety of length cans eh

had a 4-2 with stubby cans for a short while... i say a short while cos even with their db killer in the fuckers used to resonate like some wailing banshee. the mrs wouldn't go on the back as they were just the right length for her to have the full effect at motorway speeds... they came with the bike and lasted maybe 3-4 months. thats my opinion, the longer silencers may be better but imo the stubby cans are too loud and have an odd raspy sound to them
