I don't know about your particular bike, but some run wiring through light switch and this is quite often the problem.

As long as petrol level is high enough, should be good.

What measurements for magnum swinging arm do you need? Here are some rough tape measure dimensions for now 1.Pivot Width 2.Pivot to Spindle 3.Shock to Spindle.

If we worried about upsetting people we'd all be riding Superdreams. You meet the nicest people riding a H0nda, you meet the nastiest people riding a Suzuki.

Tr1umph had a spate of problems with brand new starter clutches grenading. It was caused by the engine spinning over too slow when starting and therefore causing the ignition to be advanced, and the engine to kick back. The problem was with the igniter not the starter clutch itself. Replaced under warranty with modified part (sometimes). Don't know how you would reliably check aftermarket ignitions to see if they retard ignition effectively at cranking speed though.

If you fit an uprated starter you may find your starter clutch will destroy itself even faster than normal. Not over engineered from my experience.

I suppose it depends what you are used to, but I don't find them too cramped (I'm a 5' 8'' short ectomorph with a moderate beer belly, dodgy knees and hip). There is a decent oldskool reach to bars, and footpegs are a bit close but don't give me immediate cramp like a Katana. Closest comparison for riding position is a Jota I would say. A modern(ish) 750 sports bike feels like it was designed by Frankie Dettori compared to the Magnum. Keep posting the pics.

Was a guy on old site who owned one of his zed styled gsxr engined frames. Can't remember his name though. was it you? Or is this your bike?

Started adding a spoonfull of two stroke oil to last fill up of petrol if bike is going to be stored for a while after noticing two strokes don't seem to suffer as badly from gummed up carbs. Run for a few miles before storing to get mixture coating everything. Not done a side by side test. If you buy the right oil it makes it smells good as a bonus.

Looks solid enough apart from apart from pop riveted plates at headstock.
