Run a 150 on mine no issues on the road or on track, and in the old days used to run a 170 with no problems either apart from sharpening the steering a little

Another 2 months passes and I’m just posting a small amount of progress,Lh carb off the bike today. Thought I’d check all screws etc will loosen ready for the fizzy bath and rebuild. Found the previous owner didn’t use the right screwdriver and put 1 of the float bowl screws back in knackered...thanks Had to hacksaw across the screw to get it out,will replace later,everything else came loose just need to bath it all when I’m home again.

Quick blast today took some starting probably shitty fuel,ran the tank low then stuck some super unleaded in and fuel stabiliser,stopped at the shop for some cans and couldn't resist a pic while the sun was out

Getting the old girl ready for Donington tomorrow thought I'd give her a quick clean and check tyre pressures then went to fire her up and nothing,fffing dead battery,whipped the battery off and just about to stick on charge when I noticed that all levels were below minimum just need to top up and bang on charge then investigate if a new battery is needed A quick polish anyway hoping that she starts in the morning

The one I got was the largest diy one they did it was about £80 a couple of years ago it just fits 1 carb in or loads of bits and bobs or as you can see in the photo a lower stem just fits I'll check the model number for you

As Swiss says loads on eblag I got mine in the sale from Maplin quite a few years ago it's ok for small stuff but its only a diy one

Got the dremel out to remove the bottom race then gave the bottom yoke a wire brush and clean with white spirit. Masked it off and gave it a coat of silver just to tart up it,did the bracket while I was at it,hopefully get a 2nd coat later.
