  4. It's a vj22 then lots of power and programmable power valves if you fit a zeeltronic to it should give a guaranteed 60 bhp,and it was free not very often you here that good luck with the project
  5. Also depends on what model Rgv,mine is a vj21 which has k and l models the l is more powerful.I assume it's not an rg250 engine as they will be a lot less powerful.The vj22 is more common and has 3 stage power valves to.

  8. Gave both of these a blast today so took a quick pic before putting them away
  9. Cleaned the fairings and gave them a wax,polished the swinger to. Love white wheels but wished they cleaned themselves
  10. Well time to cure the oil leak so while the cam cover was off thought I'd check the valves,a little adjustment was all that was needed. Road test completed and no leaks and definitely picked up cleaner from low revs. Refitted the fairings and gave her a clean all ready for the mot now and back on the road running well for the first time since last August
  11. Quick test ride and all seems good stops,goes and handles as well as before only thing left is the leaking head gasket which will be sorted when I check the valves in a couple of weeks time.Leaving the lower fairing off until then just to save time,looks ok for now.

  13. Another interruption to the build thread with a few more pre summer jobs done today. New chain riveted properly after my old chain tool died got an AFAM riveter top tool not expensive either and dead easy to use. Had to drop the exhaust to change the oil and filter so gave it a clean.Fitted the ignition advancer I've had knocking around in my tool box for a couple of years.

  20. Thought I should give the back wheel and swingarm a clean before putting her back in the garage. Next job is to remove and clean the exhaust and while it's off change the oil and filter.
  21. Replaced the clutch slave cover with a shiny new one after the old one came loose and got eaten by the old chain
  22. First couple of post winter jobs today,fitted the new chain and sprockets
  23. Stripped the near concrete tyres and removed the bearings ready for powder coating, oh and got another 2 sets of wheels and various other bits for £50 but had to drive to Brighton and back 1 Sunday as it was too good to miss.
