    Fuel tap

Not sure about M and N but K and L are the same as I bought a repair kit labelled K and L which fitted my K tap this might narrow it down a bit K and L fuel tap o rings are the same part number across all 4 models not sure if the taps are or not
  2. There’s Earlystocks as well problem with both clubs is they don’t like non period mods or post cut off date changes, can’t remember which but they don’t allow tyre warmers or wets so you end up with 17” Road based tyres or original 18” slabby wheels running conti classic race tyres which are pretty good. I’m building a slabby race bike and with the mods I’m planning already make it hard to find a club to race with FPR have a classic super bike class but you’ll be running a slabby 771 against ZXR and YZF big bore engines, as already stated best bet is to contact CRMC to find out more, when I tried they didn’t like the fact that my VM29 were bored to 33mm or I was running RWU 2000 era GSXR forks, you could not tell them but if you start winning folk will soon start whinging
  3. If someone can't tell you I often use this for part number checking when I take the gamble on eblag buys Don't know about body work but some 750 bits do fit the 1100 as I used the under tray and rear light set up from a 750 slingy on my 1100k recently https://alpha-sports.com/suzuki_parts.htm
  4. Its a bit bonkers I looked into it with other clubs and they say oh you can run period 17" wheels but can't run anything bigger than a 160 rear tyre.... Can't bore out original carbs to 34mm or run RS flatties which these days are cheaper than 1980's VM29's its nuts. FPR are the right club to run with and CRMC are great as long as they will accept the bike mods, think what you're planning to do makes sense but it shouldn't be that hard to go racing. Standard non radial brakes are fine as long they've been refreshed(new seals, pistons, lines and decent race brake fluid) I could outbrake modern sports bikes on track days no probs with them on my old Blandit race bike with dual carbon pads and a fartblade master cylinder, my lad ran the same in an old 600 steeley he came 3rd at Castle Combe in FP3 on it a few years back You'll just have to recalibrate your brain if you've been racing with the 600 axe murderers
  5. @Hacksawmadwill CRMC let you run non period mods as they can be a wee bit strict in my experience or is it a new class? Only asking as when I was looking at classes for my slabby race bike they were funny about non stock RS flat slides and wheels that were from much newer non era bikes, hopefully they have seen sense or made a class for the likes of us
  6. It’s on the list of projects to try to finish for 2024 it’s at no.5 so may or may not get done, dragged the frame and fairings out the garden shed to see if they were still ok,all a bit dirty as the shed roofs been leaking…
  7. Example mixed race from last season http://www.ngroadracing.org/uploads/results/2023/CCC/day1/fps3.pdf
  8. Not raced since 2021 for health reasons but still in touch with FPR as they run at NG race meets the grids are often mixed FP1 FP3 street stock 1300 and SOT due to low entry numbers sometimes only a handful of FP3 bikes mainly YZF and ZX7r Great club to race with mind if you’re looking at putting a bike together The slabby I was building would have been spanked by the other FP3 bikes due to age and power and I think the YZF ZX7 can run up to 861cc on original barrels allegedly Link to FPR website Keith who runs it is a top bloke best club I’ve raced with and I’ve run with a few https://www.fpracing.co.uk/
  9. No detail photos of mine and was done by previous owner but here goes, gsxr1100 arm fitted, monoshock with piggyback reservoir(I would have fitted a standard non piggy back shock) more room.Battery box still in place this is the only pic I have.
  10. Life sometimes throws you a curve ball so the smoker hasn't moved out of the shed since July 22, rolled it out the other day to be greeted by a family of spiders, fortunately no mice....flat tyres, flat battery and manky fuel.Had to take the calipers off to move it as the brakes were seized on to. I've retired from riding on the road so the options are sell it or do a few track days a year which is the only option as the tax and mot have long expired and there are no plans to renew them other than for a new owner...So for now she'll stay and I've booked the annual Big bang , now renamed a 2T day as lots of fat old blokes like me were crashing their pride and joys, one even ended up being helicoptered to hospital last time out..... The new mantra is spirited riding is fine but no riding like a dickhead. It's not until July so there's time to sort it... fit the 17" rear wheel and all the other bits I never got round to doing before my break from bikes. Proof it came outside for some fresh air
  11. I might be able to temporarily come out of retirement to make a guest appearance with a couple of bikes……if it saves the day
  12. One of my mates still races one that he rides to the pub on with his missus on a daytime mot,he just leans it up against the wall or available fence
  13. I’m with @fatblokeonbanditwith a decent setup they can do some amazing things for a shopping bike
  14. I used an R6 one on my 600 blandit race bike not sure on hole spacing for your fitment. it was a larger bore and had on off function was a cheap upgrade for racing
  15. Bloody hot but rode the slabby over to Trumpet HQ for a bite in the cafe and a nose round the exhibition centre
  16. Sold an 80’s old skool air rifle to a mate of mine for a decent price so spent the money on some stoppers before the boss finds out I’ve got some cash . Saved more than £75 quid with my ACU discount
  17. Being as though it’s nearly a year thought I should stop taking bits off and put her back together get an Mot and ride the bloody thing, thanks to@clivegto for the inspiration while I was at Donington last weekend with the smoker. New throttle cable fitted and carbs in the frame ready to fit tomorrow, drilled out the knackered rivnut and replaced. Replacement back end fitted with full size mudguard and indicators instead of the shitty 90s style smoked lense jobs that are screwed through the seat panels and fairing I like a list so will be making a job list tonight, then I need to work my way through the box of bits I’ve gathered over the last year ready to replace the knackered bits, even managed to track down a seat cowl in black to….I’m chin strapped now so feet up until tomorrow
