  1. thanks to @vizman for arranging the FBM lock-up for us. Now @Saulius installed it. Removed the big nut holding the clutch then installed the lock-up center thing but how does he tighten it? He has mounted the lock-up on it and tightened it by hand as much as possible, but we guess that's not enough. Should he make a special tool for tightening it? One more pic of the lock-up in place:
  2. Hi and welcome. Oilcooled 750 engine is a straight fit, IMO the '90 and '91 longstroke slingshots are the best ones.
  3. yes EFE is electronic
  4. I will, next time I see him.
  5. I don't know exactly. He just said that it's very good stuff compared with others he has used.
  6. A mate uses Ignitec on his GSX-R1000 engined boat (rules don't allow EFI). He is very happy with it.
  7. Hi and welcome to OSS. If you mean a GSX1100F as in Powerscreen then it is oilcooled. I'll move this to the right section.
  8. I agree John but it's not a loose flywheel as you suggested earlier.
  9. might be worth looking where the oil leak is, maybe it's a cheap/easy fix.
  10. and of course the wheelie wire
  11. same engines, everything else is different.
  12. 750L/M tacho starts at 0 rpm. But the redline is at 13.000.
  13. shouldn't the 1100 clocks have a fuel light?

he can't spell his own name then
  15. he said pulling the clutch in helps considerably so I'm 99% sure it's a transmission issue.
  16. last 10 pics on previous page are not showing
  17. I already have three bikes to choose from. And besides an RG80 would have trouble with my er.... "ample" figure.
  18. GS500 (among others) also have frame mounted fuel tap. In the bottom of the tank, where the tap would "normally" be, there is a small tap which you can turn to "off" with a flat screwdriver. This way draining the tank is not needed. Migth be the same on the Gamma, look at it from the right side.
  19. Clutch basket has some play in it. Nothing serious, just annoying. Adjust / balance the carbs and there's a good chance the noise will disappear.
  20. 750K rubbers should give the same spacing.
