  1. What's up with the rest of the coils? If its just the plug caps dropping off, chop half an inch off the ends and screw em back on?
  2. From memory, there's a volvo colour that's very close, can't remember what it is right now though.
  3. Got a set of VM's bored to 33mm on a B12 motor. Good bottom end, run out of puff a bit flat out, mind. Otherwise a very good cheap alternative to pukka 36/38 mikki flatslides.
  4. Sorry. I assume 1100? Got EBC's on my 750.
  5. You're quite limited, 750 discs fit iirc, but you'll need matching calipers. From memory, they're unique to 1100 slabbies.
  6. No worries, serves me right for being a tit.
  7. Fula, I'm slack as fuck and never messaged you. Still got tthese?
  8. Yeah, rev limiter will work fine. If you're having issues, just pick up a tach signal from one of the coils, it'll work and not harm the Dyna. Ifyou're bothered, I'd try a substitute rev counter just to see if yours is iffy.
  9. Yeah, they dry out and shrink/split. Crap, really.
  10. As above, check the o-ring on the float valve brass body where it fits into the carb. Also float height and valve tips for wear.
  11. It is a bit "shellsuit"... But too good to cut up. ;)
  12. @Sam-Jaffa has a B6 motor in a Gs550, mounts are the same as GSXR 750. He should be able to help.
  13. Got a set on my slabby, they need a bit of pulling to get the port spacing right, a bit of heat helps.
  14. Check the springs are in straight. Top side of the diaphragms breathe through the 2 holes either side of the needle on the bottom of the slides, iirc.
  15. Or weld in a smaller tube and then re-tap it to take another blind plug?
  16. With a cooler off Eblag and fittings and hose from torques, i think mine weighed in at aboit the £70 mark.
  17. Were they anodised or something originally? What's the coating.?
  18. You mean shape/ capacity?
  19. Finally have a bike that's reliable long-distance, looking forward to possible shenanigans. :D
  20. Also, from memory, bandit clutches are particularly weak... Isn't that why they have the steel bands around them? Im sure someone will correct me if im wrong.
  21. Basically a substitution of the weaker diaphragm clutch assembly for a complete 1100 slabside unit. You need one of two other bits, a spacer and a ball bearing, iirc. There is an article on here about it in the tech section. I know there is, cos I re-read it the other day.
  22. Take the black tops off and lift out the diaphragms. You'll see a small round hole with the brass choke plunger just visible through it. You want some light oil or similar in there, allow it to work its way around the plunger. That'll free them up.
  23. So you've replaced the drivegear on the back of the clutch, is it appropriate number of teeth for the 1100 K motor? In which case, see Fatbloke's post.
  24. I assume you mean the actual drive gear? Or the whole engine? :confused :
