Cable or clutch adjustment is the first thing to look at.

Next question
Is it call a sensor or rotor, see it call both just to help with the look out.

It's the same as used for almost all Suzukis since about 2007 on, and costs a fucking fortune new, something like £105 quid. I got one a while back for a tenner on ebays fom a 2011 GSXR750.
£105 fu#k me

I believe the main difference between the b6 and b12 is the bottom engine mount, the man to ask is @fatblokeonbandit
What he dose not know about bandit not worth knowing

Had anybody got a part number for the Speedo sensor/rotor (bit that bolts to the out put shaft front sprocket)
For b6 mk2 / gsx600f / gsx750f
Can't find it on Robinson's Foundry site
And is the bolt a m6 or m8 and what length?
Thanks.

Told you you'd start something asking this question
This topic should be banned on here, everyone has their own opinion on what is right, and the only correct answer is mine - and I'm keeping it to myself

The problem is, how many different bikes/clock's has it been in/had on that engine?
Last year the clock's I had on my GS had 54,000 on them, this year different clock's it's got 18,000 how much milage it's got for real I don't know.

If you go cable Robinsons were recently offering new Blandit 6 clutch cables and GSXR1000 clutch lever assemblies for a pittance, cheaper than secondhand prices
This maybe a daft question but how can you find out about there offers? Apart for going through all their listings
Had a look in there website but only comes up with clothing or an I missing a trick

Going cable, I think
as I'm going to use the Speedo pickup off the sprocket

Will a oil cooled b650 sprocket cover fit a b12?
As looking for a cover with the Speedo sensor and it will open the search up for just b6/gsxf
Thanks
-
Maybe best asking this in oil cooled instead of wanted, then when you know what you want post here.
Better for getting the info you need

You're wright, just had a look at my clutch on the F motor.
Just been working on a GS motor and was thinking of that
Old age you know

I thought that was the case just thought I'd ask

Basically yes.
If the inazunma 1200 is the same engine as a b12 lots have done it on b12, including me, the DOT 750 head goes straight on the b12 and them use gsxr cams and put whatever carbs you want to gsxr/b12 36mm or gsxr 750 38mm.
If you do a search there's lots of threads about DOT heads on b12.

Going to ask this, but think I know the answer
Long bit Looking at one of the projects, I'm using a srad front end so will need to go to electric Speedo, so thinking of b6 sprocket cover with Speedo bit in it but will need to drill and tape the b12 output shaft to put the Speedo bit on the sprocket side.
Or here is the question can you use the b6 output shaft in the b12 motor with the b12 gears on the b6??

His float valve seat are fubarred in the carb body.
just a carb swap would be sufficient.
You take all the fun out of it
As he is doing the carbs may as well do the head and put some gsxr cams in there

I know this is an old thread I see certain carbs are similar what will go straight on without to much bother, some tool.has tried to remove valve seat on one of mine and messed it up the seats are pressed in and not available
DOT head time then

I wouldn't worry about it for now because within 100 miles you will be needing to replace the ebc plates you have put in (as they are shit) then you can sort any other problems you have in the clutch
