Not the same but is gs1000 run better with the 1085 kit than the 1100 kit unless you have work done to the head.

Pilot screws to adjust the air/fuel mix at low revs.
Now go and get a manual and RTFM.
It will help.
We don't mind numty questions as long as you don't mind the piss being taken

Can you give me more info on this piston swap or point me to where I can find it? This sort of oddball thing is right up my alley.
If this sort of thing is right up your alley, interduce yourself put up some pics of your Suzuki and be part of the group if not don't come and ask again

You will also need to sort out the gear lever.
Can't you drill and mount the Speedo thing in the 750 cover?
-
Can't you just chop some of the sprocket cover off to make it fit?
Pics may help.

I will send you a wiring diagram latter if you want.

But what is that weird.. L shaped thingy.? I have a similar set but that is a J shaped set?
That's for throwing across the garage when you hit your thumb with that big heavy thing, I think they call it a hammer?

In this case ever a main dealer who can pick the bike up then when it's fixed sell it for him.

I believe the slabside swing arms fit the slabside and don't interchange to the latter slingshot and the other way round.
Someone in here may know a mod for it but seen questions on here asking how or if the ride height can be changed and it seems not very easily.
But I would think if you can or know someone who can weld alloy you could make up some brackets to put a more standard type dog bones type swing arm in?
-
How you found the new clock's in your pic?
I found them a pain to wire up and now the ET is running the rev counter is slow to respond to the revs of the bike, but they look good
The crystal clear headlight are much better than the standard ones just use a good make of bulb not a cheepo one

FB is the man to ask about blandit gear, but I'm told you can but the cdi will lower the revs and you will need to use the blandit ignition switch.
I used the mounts on this site much cheaper than buying them off Grumpy 1260 unless you can't make them.
Also if you make them yourself and then want to move the engine forward or back a bit to fit zorst or carbs it's not as much as a problem as to When you have played lots off money for brackets

Slabside and b6 forks are 41mm the slingshot b12 are 43mm so you can't use slingshot with the forks you have. You can also use RF600 bottom yoke a bit easyer to find but you will need to sort out lock stop probably.
Don't know if there is a width difference between the b6 and the slabside yokes someone else will have to answer that one, but the RF6 yokes are the same width as the b6. So if, which it looks like he has used the b6 yokes with slabside forks and the slabside yokes are different you can use rf6.
Just fitted rf6 forks and bottom yoke with b6 top yoke on my gs1000 so I know that combo works.

The gsx750f had 36mm carbs as standard. Can't tell by pic what carbs you have on maybe b12?
The front end you have looks like gsxr slabside forks brakes in b6 yokes looking at the top yoke (b6) so you'd have to change the bottom yoke stem, I'd look out for a set of slabside yokes.
Front wheel is the curved spoke wheel, what size is stamped on the wheel?
You may find you have a b6 with 750 motor fitted and slabside forks, as you say steel swing arm b6 had them the b12 had Alli.

I believe the standard air cooled zorst ports are bigger than the oil cooled 40mm gasket on oil 44mm on air. So the headers may not fit the ports but if you have the air cooled zorst try it
Gsxr750 zorst will fit the bandit 12 but very close/ hit the sump pre water cooled (2000)
You can fit gsxr1000k1-k2 but you will need extended pipes/sleeves made up there's a diagram for this in my gsx1157et project thread. But most if not all water cooled zorsts won't fit the oil cooled.

If you have the standard rear wheel etc, the wheel spindle dose the job on GS/gsx

I had a battery getting hot but that was the solenoid that was buggered and pulling loads of current and would not stop turning the starter motor, change the solenoid and all was good.
-
Try contacting the two terminals on the starter solenoid with a screwdriver and see if that turns the engine over?
Ps ignition on but don't press the start button if it turns over your solenoid is f#ck.
For something like that to happen to the starter motor as @Wee Man says see if the motor will turn over by hand from the 19mm but on the ATU, take plugs out as well when turning over by hand.

Plus 1 on both the replys above.
I've always used AN8 for the room reason, AN10 when you're needing room or lack of it can be a bit big.
The 310mm 19 row fits nicely on/in the kat fairing
-
@johnr as to your headlight, get a Crystal clear headlight off a mr2 mk1 fit that and put a Philips ice bulb in and night becomes day
Dead easy to fit into the Kat or a et.
If you want I've got one here I'm not using as it's for a crack in the glass when I had it on my gs1000, pay the post and I will send it to you and you can try if
