    B12 cdi?

Long story, but the next project I'm going to do will have a b12 motor, but swooping the 38mm carbs off the kat and putting them the b12 and the b12 carbs on the kat, as the b12 motor will be more tuned. I degrees, will be using a b12 harness with mk1 motor the question is which cdi black box will work? Do I have to get a mk1 one or will say one of the latter k models work? Thanks
  5. Got a set of b12 mk1 bst carbs, but they have not got the black electoral plug on the side of number 4 carbs, just a bar sticking out. So will the carbs still work on a non bandit motor? Or do I need to get one, even that it will not be coneted? Thanks.
  6. Cheers Has the 750 a 17mm swing arm spindle or is that the 1100?
  7. If you don't have the vacuum pipe on that's why it will not run, smaller pipe from tape runs usual to number 2 carbs, but someone will be along with a pic to show you better than I can say in words
  8. OK, this may of been asked before but cannot find anything, so sorry. What if any are the difference between the gsx750et frame and the gsx1100et frame? Swingarm spindle etc? Cheers
  9. Dose not help in some ways, but do some don't. The one on my GS dose not have a oil ring and is fine and has plenty of oil pressure but I do have the gsx750et oil pump gears in my motor.

  11. Hi all, Is there any other cush drive rubbers fit a gsxr1100 slingshot rear wheel, or are Suzuki cush drive rubbers all the same??? Cheers
  12. May be wrong but with the ( looks like) 18" front wheel one of the early 1980 one as I think when to 16" latter? Or was that just the 750 version
  13. Welcome back to OSS Russ. What's the plans? If you need any help I'm just over the hills in the peak
  14. Early gsx600f and some gsx750f has 4/2 zorst and the headers will bolt strate on just need to make brackets up for your end cans.
  15. Same as gsx. Nice introduction from yourself to the site
  16. If your looking at going bigger than the 650cc I'd look at getting the crank checked out, when your their you may as well put a new can chain in and at least HD clutch springs. But if your just going for the 650 top end just check for any play in the crank and if non, away you go. Tuning a old motor is one of them, how far do you or you bank want to go you can keep going and going
