  1. I was told if I didn’t stop that particular habit, I’d go blind. I said I’d just keep doing it ‘till I needed glasses!
  2. Well, basically any 5.5” rim. Possibly even a SRAD or Busa 6”as well. What size is the one you’ve got fitted?
  3. I think Wiseco recommend a dry cylinder wall on rebuild.
  4. I have a set of 750M ones. You’ll have to decide what front end you want first.
  5. How about M&S, Wemoto ect? And, most Eblag sellers will tell you owt! Trust no-one!
  6. Ooh! Astralite up for grabs???
  7. Surprised to hear the repair kit is proving so hard to get! I'll be needing front & rear kits when I start mine. Don't forget to post your results.
  8. He’s in the Traders, isn’t he? Lucky7. http://facebook.com/luckyseven.motorcycles
  9. Check the ‘Traders’ section. SteveA does cracking work!
  10. Yup! Ball cranks work on very low pressures, while plain bearing cranks need a lot more!
  11. Much better power to weight ratio. Should make a very interesting ‘Sleeper’!
  12. As Daz says above. The basic case shape won’t have much differences, if any. Peripherals May differ, probably not much though. Why don’t you dig into the motor and find out exactly what the problem is. And, welcome to OSS!
  13. As Sam says! Quick and easy. Swap stems, and away you go! You can also improve the Bandit forks easily too. And welcome to OSS. Our motto? ‘We like pictures!’

    Yokes

Anyone know if an RF900 top yoke will work with a Mk1/Mk2 B12 bottom yoke?
  16. Hi Jay. Welcome to the OSS. The 850 is a great bike! Get the tyres and all the fluids changed, then take it for a ride.
  17. @DAZYes, bores glazed. @slayer61Valves sealing perfectly. @imagoI’ll check valve timing on assembly, but I’m sure it was ok.
  18. @imagoCam timing by the book. Lined up correctly. @KATANAMANGLERNo carbs fitted yet.
  19. The thought had crossed my mind, Dezza. 1,2 and 3 were just over the 100, 4 was around 90. Any recommendations for a decent quality gauge?
  20. Yup. Brand new OE Suzuki.
  21. ‘96 B6 Getting 100psi on this motor. Should be 142. No valve leakage at all. Bore nearing limit, but still in spec. Pistons are .0012” over limit (undersized). Rings: Free end gaps out of spec, but fitted gaps in bore around .004” under limit. So, why is compression nearly 1/3 under what it should be? I might add, the motor has just under 18k on it
