  1. Grease gun just eases out. No drama’s!
  2. If you come across a piston that just won’t move, take the caliper off the bike. Find a lever type grease gun. Remove the nipple end of the gun. Screw the gun into the calliper. Carefully! Pump. Even the most stubborn piston will hoist the white flag, and meekly come out into the light! Nothing can withstand that pressure. Just sayin’.
  3. Nice and neat. Just the right angle, too!
  4. Hmmm. Bit of a dilemma then!
  5. Should be a domed nut on either side of the head, tapped to 6mm.
  6. Read ‘Frankensteins Pages’ in The Vault. All will be revealed!
  7. But engine mounts are the same.
  8. As above. Don’t put too much load on the motor at first. And, welcome to OSS.
  9. Just get stuck in! If they don’t work, sell ‘em on! No biggie! And, welcome to OSS.
  10. @AndydPM’d you a link to manual. Time sensitive, so download it asap!
  11. Fuel flow is activated by engine vacuum. Tap to inlet tract. So, if the vacuum pipe’s not connected, how is the fuel flowing?
  12. Plenty WD over the weekend, and a good pummelling with a big fuck-off orange deadblow hammer!
  13. Done! And no broken fins!
  14. Hi Tony. Welcome to OSS. 50 posts and the classifieds will magically appear. What was the old man’s user name?
  15. It's either that, Tones, or seized on the front studs that are exposed to all the flying shite! And, I don't fancy removing the studs ... too much to go wrong!
  16. Not me, Your Lordship!
  17. It's an Americanism for Standard. As in 'Factory'!
  18. WTF’s a ‘Fish’, Joris?
  19. They’re so tight, I’ve had to strip the motor around them! 1127. I’m now left with the cylinders and the upper crankcase. The fuckers just won’t budge! When hit, they sound as if they’re part of the upper case. Any dodges to make them part company? Presently soaking in WD40. I want to avoid breaking any fins, as they’re in really good nick!
  20. It couldn’t be the enrichment plungers on 3&4 not coming fully off, could it?
  21. @Damienga15deI have an 1100F gear cluster here if you want to stay stock?
