  1. Also, cut the old bits off the shift rod that are probably buggered too and replace them with heim joints while you're at it

    Carb rubbers

Good tip. Also the ones you got are what is needed if you want to fit foam filters on Mikuni RS36-38
  3. I was only explaining why it looks fugly, i never talked about flow capacity
  4. I'm sure it works i just feel it lacks flow (visual) and smoothness (slight exhaust hernia vibe ?) In any case it's 10mm from your front tyre so you're going to have to do something about it. But I'm sure you can make something more fitting, literally, and also more to the style of that road project
  5. Many examples on here prove you wrong, mister
  6. Not really the best looking item anyway
  7. Air pods and slip on will lean it out a lot ? What have you got at the moment in the rack ?
  8. I'll be getting mine soon, i'll let you know
  9. EF is screw in, like any GSX GSXR oil cooled is push in and screw held plate
  10. But since none of them are 1m long, does it answer the question ? Fwiw the cable you used was probably off a W GSXR
  11. Which GSXR cable is 40 inches ?
  12. Right. How long is the standard item ? I might have an option soon that might work. It's the size of the plastic screw in thread that will define whether it could work or not
  13. How long do you need it to be ?
  14. If putting in the Sprockets tooth count and measuring the distance between both is too complicated for you, well...
  15. https://www.rbracing-rsr.com/chainlength.html
  16. Bandit caps are compatible i think ? Pattern parts available Most people here will vouch for the airbox intake pipes with RamAir foam filters
  17. On an 1127 : Same one on 1157 :
  18. But yes, i'm pretty certain that 1127=1157
  19. I can confirm that very easily since i have both on the bench without their covers fitted
  20. Are 750/1127 interchangeable to start with ? 1127 same as 1157 though from what i remember on mine.

    EFE CAMS

French bikes were restricted to 106 HP from 1985 onwards. After many years of pressure from biker associations, pointing out that EU equity was not respected on this matter, the restriction has been lifted since 2016. That said, the gov still kept their stance on it somewhat because although you can derestrict bikes made before 2016, you can only do it on bikes equipped... with ABS.
  22. Well i guess thats down to the cylinder head design ? Anyways, there is always better, but here the victim is a 1400 and the aim is to achieve best output for as contained a budget as possible (if possible) Duly noted for the inlets, i think with what access i have to things, all alloy with a bit of milling will be the most straightforward The airbox info makes fabrication a bit more complex for me however Is the non box joints system to aid flow/strength/both ? Regardelss, the weld quality will not be questioned, i do have a most excellent alloy welder guy at hand for these jobs Cheers
