  1. You need the pre 2006 r6 rear shock. You need to narrow the lower eye a few mm to fit. I've only fitted one to a 750, which works really well. Not sure how well it works out length wise on an 1100.
  2. Go to the race tech website. Theres a tool on there to calculate the spring rate.
  3. To add balance to the thread. Fit a set of FCR41s and go rag the tits off it. You'll thank me.
  4. Stock gsxr1100m motor, RS36 will be best all round performance. Throttle will be heavy to operated though due to the return springs in the RS carbs. Gsxr motor will have more top end than the bandit motor. Look at your gearing too. If you are running stock 750 sprockets it will run out of puff as you are geared for 185mph. 15/48 works really well. Good for a real 155mph
  5. No, it's a back torque limiting device. It prevents the back wheel from locking up via compression locking when changing down through the gears quickly. Uses ramp plates to lift the cover plate slightly to allow the clutch to slip. Common place on 4t race bikes for the last 30years.
  6. Don't think any parts are interchangeable between 750 and 1100 clutches. You'll have to fit an 1100 motor...
  7. Looks rich at the top and bottom end to me. But yeah. what the fuck looks like the graphs were done on an Etch a Sketch.
  8. Isn't the point of running on the dyno to figure this out. Find a yno operator that knows what they are doing.
  9. Mates's 13 year old lad is ouy on his ninja300 at Llandow thursday.
  10. They are sprung a bit softly even for road use. I'd look at sfiffer springs, how far you go depends on intended use. Rebuild with fresh oil and bushes, and they aren't a bad set-up.
  11. Nope. It's because of the hydrogen embrittlement issues mentioned earlier. Chrome plating is banned in motorsport because of this.
  12. All very true. I think the the Martins were just straight Nickel plated. Chrome plating is a big no no on stressed parts like frames as it causes a process called hydrogen embrittlement which is as bad as it sounds. Nickel plating suffers the same but to a much lesser extent.
  13. Cool looking bike Tony. Have I seen that on pbf?
  14. @Markz9who do Wasp use to plate their Rickman frames?
  15. If ever a bike needed a front mounted head cooler....just below the pair of KC daylighters. Look good, the speed its coming together is impressive.
  16. The Pirelli 180/60 is basically 190 width. It was developed originally for supersport 600 bike 5.5" rims but with the contact patch of a 190. Be warned though. With your engine and wheel combination the chain will run the side wall slightly. Never caused me an issue though.

    Slab Sumps

Would you like to buy a Slabbie sump dude.

    Slab Sumps

Slingshot sumps are different shape and have different oil cooler lines. They will fit with the correct pick up and drain tubes. I would offer you the spare slabbie one I have but the forum mods will get all medieval if I did that...
  19. Carbed R6 throttle tube goes straight in slingshot switch gear, to give a ghetto qa throttle. cheap as chips too. Not sure if it works on a slabbie though.
  20. Lots of different grades of stainless. The fancy bolts you but from pro-bolt, race bolt etc aren't made from the same grade as A2 or A4, they'll be at least as strong as a 8.8 bolt.
  21. That looks like the disc that I've got on my Astralites. Looks a bit shit. So... I've had the disc itself made, I think the the manufacturer made 2. The bell and bobbins are in progess.
