  1. Ensurance will cover my damage so happy with that soon i wil start rebuilding Discovered a nice extra last tuesday looks worse then it actually is although it still hurts
  2. Thanks everyone! Damage is mendable just a days work so i am gratefull for that could have been worse
  3. First ride out of the year didn’t turned out what i expected it to be. Crashed on a roundabout 5 min from my house, cardriver behind me said he saw a bolt jumping when i fell. Couldnt hold the bike it was gone instantly. It was a bloody carwheel bolt So bike wrecked and my body hurts again wich is bloody fekin horrible as i just recovered from my crash in spain. Now let’s so what insurance will cover i have a lot of damage to bike and gear. luckily no frame or paint damage
  4. So exhaust done and ready, oil return moved to the bottom of the sump located excactly under the pick up also made a diveder underneath the pick so when i brake the oil bumps into that first so hopefully this changes wil help The thing i am the most happy about is i found my electrical gremlin. The problem was the startermotor ran without touching the starterbutton when it wanted couldnt find the problem for two years i thought it was a problem with witing or the mgm unit. After rewiring some switchgear and toring the bike to pieces i discovered the problem was the nut wich holds the thick wire from starterrelais too battery was loose in its housing and probably made contact with the starter whenever it wanted. So happy camper here i was a bit worried my mgm unit was toast Tomorrow i will take the bike out to a bikeshow especially for Nico Bakker bikes
  5. So it’s been a while since i posted here. I used the bike well in the past been to Donington, Isle of man etc. The bike behaved wel but does have a few thing needs changing. Since i do trackdays i appearently dive into corners deeper then i used to wich almost made me wreck the bike cause the exhaust touches in right handers so back too the drawing board. I brought the xhaust inwards wich made me sacrifice the 76 mm pipe so i took out some on the inside. Exhaust is almost done. Another thing is i have smoke when i brake hard the turbo isnt high enough so i will try too fix this creating a pipe inside the engine wich wil be very close in the pick up hoping this will be enough suction. If it does not work i probably go the mech scav pump again. last but not least i have elektrical gremlings the startermotor turns on its own whenever it wants to so i have some wiring to check maybe its a ripped wire or even a faulty starterrelais
  6. Not a strange idea mate i Turbo'd my Bakker wich was originally build for endurance racing Crack on with this build i love it!
  7. If your not confident weather it seals or not you can always make a ring with fit’s in the belmouth so it get’s forced against the plenum
  8. https://cable-shop.nl/ i always buy my gear here you can make your own cables according to your needs for fair prices Very handy if you need cables who arent stock lenght etc
  9. There are multiple people on this site including me using this methode with succes. I havent glued them in as far as i know no leaks
  10. Awesome ! The older i get the more i like the underengined little bikes ..
  11. Why not probably needs carbs setting up Just try and you will know
  12. Maybe https://www.gearingcommander.com/ can help you out ?
  13. Good luck Is it really 4hours this year ?
  14. I noticed with various build you can control boost better, internal gates tend to boostcreep when you go big or dumppipe exhausts. So i always go external when building turbobikes.
  15. Why do you prefer carbs ? I have a srad with carbs and would be more then happy to swap everything with you to get mine fuel injected.
  16. Value for money they survived my crash a bit of bending will make them fit for racing again
  17. Even the AN10 connectors and hoses wich came with the cooler are perfect on mine
  18. I have got a cheap china Eblag oilcooler on my bakker for quit some years did the isle of man and stil in one piece if i recal correct it was 80 quid so i wouldnt buy an oilcooler for 200 plus quid myself
  19. He will reply i am shure, be patient little grashopper.
  20. I did the whole yoshi bracing on my 750 including the swingarm brace, cant tell how the frame performed before cause i started racing after the bracing. I only can say that the bike is performing really good. You can find some pictures in my topic. Quist Racing sells the kit’s to perform this bracing wich is based on the kit i made and used on my bike.
  21. Not very promising but you wil get this sorted !! You really don’t need a dyno to get your bike running right, i did all my tuning on the streets laptop in my backpack. Once you get this sorted you shall see al the trouble was worthied
  22. Those are spot on, i crashed my bike last sunday with those. The pegs are still in one piece. Good price/quality
  23. That Dyno operator is very very very lucky
  24. Downside of helicol gears it will wear out the crankshims that’s just about it I rode a gsxf 1216 engine for three years with 240 bhp at the wheel. So whoever says a gsxf engine isnt up to that kind of hp is wrong. The only reason i have an R engine now is because of the dragging clutch problem and the powerloss from helicol gears otherwise i would use an f engine al day long
