  1. Team Banana is counting on you @t Spa 2018 so see you there But indeed it's a bit strange me not coming to Elvington i have spend loads of weekends there the last decade ! I will come over in the future but if i come i want to ride myself but first i want to get the hang of trackriding wich i am infected with now.
  2. Yep sidepanels needed some trimming must say i am very pressed by the quality of the sets for the money i have paid. @Antman look for racetrack rearsets at Eblag uk and you wil find them

  5. Why the heatcloth between engine and turbo piping ? Al you can do is waterinjection and maybe up the cooling using a bigger radiator ?

  7. Found out there are differences in duration and lift between the buildingyears I just took my chance and swapped engines and cams yesterday Today minor things and then start up I reckon the diff in cams could have effect on power and powerband We'll see ....
  8. Hi I have a 90 750 engine with a shot intake cam, can i exchange cams from a 85 750 engine ? I have two spare 85 engines but i want to use the 90 engine its better and had cable clutch or can i exchange the cams from my 88 89 engine into a 90 engine Thanks in advance

Just standard Lambda reading om the dyno It goes massivly rich around the time it stutters at 8000 rpm Already tried cv carbs wich give excactly the same readings/problems I am running ram air filters wich a lot of people use, i can easily take them off to see of that makes any difference Airjets clear for sure carbs have been cleaned ultrasonic by me Apart from the stutter at about 8 8500 rpm the engine only produces 65 bhp all the sign look likes its electrical but i already ruled out all stuf wich has to do electrical wise I suspect something wrong with the engine, will try some things this weekend iff i cant find it i will swap engines
  10. I have been brainstorming with my dyno guy about this thing the whole weekend. When we took off the valve cover we noticed there was welding done on the inside off the cover. So thing is maybe there was engine damage and someone has put in two in or outlet cams, or maybe they are swapped... the wheels are at the right place but hey camwheels can we taken off also So i will take off the cover again to check that also. Will check timing and cam angles again just to be sure.
  11. No not asjustable fuel consumption dunno cause i never rode it on the road, exhausttemperatures are good so engine doesnt get crazy hot.
  12. Bakker is back from its suspension update it has cost a fortune but i am quit happy now. The upgrade has put my bike a tad higher on its wheels about 1.5 to 2 cm and it sits more on its front now so i am sure this will improve steering. In the past i had problems with cornering due to the 3 inch exhaust but now the bike is highter on its wheels i think this problem could be gone. Always found that the sidestand whas to short but now its perfect. Glad i didnt alter sidestand and exhaust in the past. So testride this week to check !

I will change coils and leads and will make a direct mass and feed to the cdi too see if this helps There is even mentioned that the pick up could be fubarred or the triggerwheel is demagnatised but that i will swap when all other options fail. If all above isnt the fault i will simply swap engines i have two spare
  14. There is mentioned by a well known dynoman that when the spark is bad it causes the effect of late timing wich explains the lack off bhp. So this could be an explanation
  15. Afr was between 13/12:1 under load that was even a tad rich. We started out with 135 mains and it was even richer so we thought this caused the problem, so went to 122 in the end but the problem kept acuring. When it the stottering accurs the dyno shows it goes rich so that why we thought the mains where to big. When the stuttering accurs the dyno shows rich rich mega rich but thats probably unburned fuel so a spark problem is most likely. Problem is the bike even gives to low bhp in lower rpm's. When its dynod it sound good goes to gears like hell. But it just does not perform. All goes well when you use 3/4 throttle when you use 100% throttle it goes wrong. With that in mind is suspect ignition cause with full throttle even more are is passing the spark wich i think causes it to go out and makes the engine stutter
  16. Yes regardles wich gear i suspect elecric problem too fuel starvation dont think so it was dynod with an external tank started out with 135 mains

Okay so i went to the dyno today i have a 750 dothead engine with a micron system and yoshi silencer, 29 mm flatties bored to 33 ram air filters Turns out the bike does not make more then 65 bhp and seems to just stop at about 8000 rpm like it hits the rev limiter we tried everything other set of carbs cr test other cdi checked camtiming replaced two lead caps new plugs So all is checked and was okay only thing that can be done is replace the coils for others but if that doesnt work i am totally in the dark anyone here had something simular ??

Little update The last big thing was to do a complete suspension overhaul I got in touch with former WP employees wich got fired when the factory went to ktm so they started there own business After a good talk with them i decided that they needed to do my suspension icw me taking the bike apart at there workshop to keep cost low as possible. It turned out that there was a lot wrong with my suspension some a. Hole took both front end en rearsuspension apart in the past and put it back the wrong way wich caused damage to the internals etc Other thing we discovered that the suspension i have is one of taylor made and supposely worth between 4500 and 5000 euro Not that i actually care cause i am not gonna sell Parts are not availlable so some stuff had to be made. Now two weeks later the suspension is fully upgraded and in perfect working order Next year i will get the stanchions rechromed cause they where damaged by bad engineering skills So now get it back in one piece, next stop Donington.
