As the oil pressure switch references a "ground"... that is to say, a ground turns the oil pressure light on, a bad connection isn't your problem. A complete shite connection, like falling off of the terminal, is getting farther away from ground and becoming less likely to send a "ground" signal to the light. Should the wire come completely off the sender and land on the engine case, the light will indeed come on and stay on untill you move it. Does any of this make sense? Inside the sensor is a very small spring that must be overcome in order for the light to turn off. It is a "normally on" switch. That's why when you turn on the ignition, your oil light comes on and stays on until you have oil pressure. I "might" be the switch. It also "might" be a clogging pick up screen. If you can somehow prove you have good oil pressure, replace the switch. Good luck Sir!

You guys get the coolest shit over there.

Alright Tony. Humor this Yank and explain what sterilizing fluid is? Bleach? Rubbing alcohol?

The EZ uses the ally swingarm, right? That's a great swing arm. The Kaw guys use them as an upgrade for their KZ units. It'll take a wide wheel quite easilly.

You're gonna have to do some looking for a rear master based on your likes, but a switch is easy. I've taken to using banjo bolts with a built in pressure switch for my junk.

Gawd dammit that looked like a bucket of fun!

Think like a "maintenance man"!

This is, no doubt, the very reason that Megacycle don't make cams for these bikes... due to their fragile valve train.

My bike has the stupid "BATTERY" light always lit. As a reminder to turn the petcock off I put a "FUEL" sticker right over it as a reminder to turn it on/off goldfish approved!

Does it hurt your balls to ride a bike with that seat on it?

Is it necessary to have oil catcher set up on boosted gsxr1100

Dude! There's a puddle under your exhaust! You need a catch can! -
Brother your build is spot on. Very nice and I'm following with interest. Curious what front fender/mudguard you're using? I have a similiar set up using the slingshot fender and ended up grinding some of the fork lugs down to clear the mudguard. I need the clearance for an 18" front wheel, and a 17" front fender

Is that what we call a "concrete anchor" over here?

You're on my side of the pond. Give Sudco a call. http://www.sudco.com/index.html

I'm a fan of EBC brakes. I use the HH series on the bikes https://ebcbrakes.com/products/double-h-sintered-superbike-brake-pads/

I've always found Vintage Brake to be exceedingly helpful. http://vintagebrake.com/mastercylinder.htm

That's easy for YOU to say!

Wow. Maybe the gasket "kits" are a Euro thing. Never seen one in the states.
-
I've never known the "OEM"s to provide "kits". They gladly sell you the individual parts you need. The kits come from the aftermarket

There's a fella on this side who goes to your side from time-to-time, I guess. He does some brake upgrades and might be worth talking to, if you've a mind. He's called "salty_monk" on the GSR site. https://www.thegsresources.com/_forum/forum/technical-forums/performance-tuning-mods/33111-twinpot-brake-upgrade-on-78-skunk

Yup. I bought some from the bay & had the same experience. I bit the pillow & bought OEM
