  1. The sender must match the gauge, for the gauge to be accurate.
  2. Let's see if this works. This is from a local speed shop chain, referencing turbosmart goodies & controllers. Several detailed drawings about waste gate connections... https://static.summitracing.com/global/images/instructions/tbs-ts-0302-1002.pdf
  3. They say that money can't buy happiness... but it CAN buy motorcycle parts & THAT makes me happy!
  4. You people that can just pick up a tig torch and fabricate like that are very upsetting to those of us who can't!
  5. I think R1guy is asking about my thread to document doing just this... adding a DOT head to my GSX My bike isn't a commuter, or an all day rider. I'm too old and fat for all that. I do enjoy a quick trip up & down the road, however. I have added the 750 pump, and cooler to the mix. I'll keep compression and timing in check in an effort to keep heat at bay... or at least to a minimum on a short trip. Thanks for worrying about me R1guy!
  6. Since I'm spending YOUR dosh I'll have the XR69 please. The Wes Cooley has been done to death. What's it called.... ah.. a clitorus.
  7. Because I don't know, and I'm not afraid to ask... with this combo of parts, what did you end up for a deck height after adding the 2mm spacer?
  8. Trackers don't have headlights!?!
  9. Find a friend with machine tools & the skills to use 'em!
  10. I have to tell you... it pisses me off that that stuff just isn't available here in the states. Pretty jealous here.
  11. A friend with an H2 had some made that read
  12. Listen to Tony. Electrics is like "connect-the-dots" for adults. The dots start at the battery and end up at the coil the voltage gets there by way of the ignition switch and kill switch.
  13. Keep in mind, I'm a numpty old electrician... and not a hydrodynamicist or anything educated... but does increased flow & pressure ALWAYS equate to greater heat xfer? IOW can the oil get to flowing so fast across the hot surface that there isn't sufficient time to absorb the heat?
  14. Raasks. I think they're made for everything under the sun. I have a set on my GSX. I like 'em!
  15. The pump is the same from 750-GSX11/EFE. If the gears have the number you're after you are GTG Sir.
  16. I think you're gonna love the Jemco. I've used their products for years on a race bike. Very cool
  17. Glad to hear all is good. Excellent news indeed!

    Supercharger

I work in power generation. A couple of decades ago I worked at a plant that had a Caterpillar diesel engine as a starter motor for the gas turbine. The cat was a V12 configuration using a turbo on each side feeding into a pair of roots blowers, one on the front half & one on the back half. It was the craziest thing i'd ever seen. Sure wish I'd taken pics of it
  19. In place of the headlight!
  20. Propper troubleshooting skills right there, brother. Well played
  21. Yes Sir, as seen below I had the clutch basket out recently to install the GSX750 oil pump gears on mine & had to have a look-see.
  22. White plugs are lean, yes. But, unless you did a proper "plug chop" you might be looking at the wrong circuit. The main jets and the needle height both affect different throttle positions. The needle is out of the picture by the time the mains come in.
  23. I have made purchases from SUDCO (my side of the pond) and webike both with excellent results. Where's my pimpin' money??
