  1. Hi, The GS 1000 I'm building came with a single disk setup. Im converting to a dual. Im wondering if the master cylinder for the single is enough? If not could you guys please recommend one. I see a bunch of aftermarkets on Eblag. Any help would be appreciated. Not sure. Regards, Vince
  2. Hi I was looking at that switch and it looks like there is no wires soldered to that contact also no witness marks on the copper where the contact passes? (Blue circle) Could it be it was never there? Its missing at the off position on the switch. Just an observation. Vince

  4. Hi, I am restoring the left hand switch on a 79 GS 1000 and it looks like im missing one of the copper detent contacts. Its the small rectangular one with two little raised forms. Does anyone know where to get them or has one for sale. Any help would be appreciated. Vince

  6. Hi, was wondering will a 5/8 piston bore master cylinder work with a dual disk set up? The bike I am building only came with a single disk but I upgraded with a dual. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Vince
  7. Hey, thanks again to everyone who answered graciously. Im not ashamed to ask. Btw Gixer1460. Your correct, I wouldn’t know anything about measuring. Im a Toolmaker by trade , so it does escape my abilities. Ill work on it before asking questions going forward. Thanks for the response.

  9. Hi , I am building a 79 GS 1000 and I cant find # 12 and 13 torque link bolts. Does anyone know where to get them? Respectfully, Vince
