  1. I found it's way easier to get my Mrs. to do that part. She has much smaller hands than me!
  2. When I put the upgrades on my Mrs' bike, hose & fittings were purchased from z1enterprises. pick your hose length, a couple of end fittings and bolt it all together. Z1E is in Florida, if it makes a difference to you
  3. Sandy Kosman (RIP) over here did wheel widening. Years back he turned a 16X3 to a 17X6 for me. A long gone project.
  4. Greetings! You understand that pics are a requirement, right?
  5. Ian, you're gonna have to keep in mind the overall length of the forks as well. When I did my swap, I wanted to keep RWU forks and 89 GSXR11 forks were the longest available without making extensions to the forks.
  6. You guys are the BEST! The main Suzuki site on my side of the pond has questions like... Just thanks for your insight. Much appreciated.

  8. Found it, Thanks! https://www.psychobike.com/threads/gsxr-1000-cylinder-head-on-a-gsxr1100-block.127431/#post-1215869
  9. Guys, I have pulled my GSX down to swap over to the DOT head, details at I've read over & over that the front 2 cylinder studs beside the cam chain tunnel need to be blocked so oil doesn't seep up past. bla bla bla... I'm looking for a diagram or drawing of the GSX oil distribution system to verify. Anybody got one they would care to share? ETA: I have this one, but it doesn't answer my questions. Looks more like oil comes up on outer galleys
  10. I have one on my 1100es. Is it that different?
  11. Level of "whiskey in the jar" comes to mind!
  12. Caliper? What is this "caliper" thing, of which you speak? I build with a tape measure !!!
  13. I've always found less math to be easier. Measure from the east side of 1 to the east side of the other & be done. And 58, it is.
  14. One of the fellas I raced with is a fan. They are "almost" bespoke pieces and he bought a couple of sets for bikes he doesn't even own yet... yet?
  15. I bow to your vastly superior intellect.
  16. Doesn't Tom think everybody's a prick though!
  17. 120 got me through my conversion from 630-530 using a Metmachex arm.
  18. Uh... it's actually 85 mph. Our .gov did that during the early gas crisis to help convince people to conserve fuel. They also reduced the national speed limit to 55 mph. fags.
  19. I raced (flat track) with another guy who had them in his vintage Yamaha. Pushing his bike was like pushing a bicycle around. He was the son of one of the major players in American flat track racing.
  20. See? Now y'all have scared him away!
  21. On this side of the pond Sandy Kosman did wheel widening in the past. He's gone now RIP Sandy. He did one for me in the late 80s or early 90s. Took my 16 x 3 or whatever Kaw wheel & made it 17 x 6
