  1. Cut the boost pipe in half reconnect it with silicone pipe & 2 big clips. This makes removing the carbs a lot easier.
  2. It was tight on the drum.
  3. When I had the Turbo Magnum running I popped it in 1st gear on the paddock stand it stuck & wouldn't select any thing ells . So rather than stripping the hole bike down as easiest way is to remove front & back ends then lift frame of the engine. Magnum 2 frames have no frame cradle so the bottom end of the engine can in theory be removed. I winched the hole bike up (in what we call the old bullock shed) by the front wheel then winched the back wheel up to turn the entire bike upside down. Whipped the bottom crankcase of and checked the supper finished gearbox over. Main problem appeared to be the cam guide plate for the gear drum, so after a bit of fettling I put it all back together & lowered it back to the ground the right way up.
  4. What are the head light brackets from shipmate (bit that bolts to the head light)
  5. Never catch me not going steady Nearl ready.
  6. Well the Turbo Magnum fired up straight away this evening. I did do a little video of it but it's too big to upload.
  7. Everything appears to be working correctly on the wiring loom just needs rapping up. Quite a lot of the wires are not needed as it turns out.
  8. Red was permanent live, orange/green was switched live and black/yellow was for the tacho. Thanks for your help gents.
  9. Thanks that makes sense.
  10. Thanks I have that already. To be fair I am no electric engineer but I am a very practical man and some of the stuff on the diagram makes no sense to me when wiring in the koso clocks.
  11. Old broken set of Mk1 b12 clocks I have appears to have black/red and orange/green ?
  12. Am customising a mk2 Bandit 1200 loom for my Harris project with koso clocks. All work now apart from I have 3 wires left from the loom black/yellow, red, and orange/green. Question is which one is the tacho and what should I do with the other 2. All 3 wires did go to the b12 clocks.
  13. You should see the other sheds
  14. Side stand switch clutch switch check every thing.
  15. Got a button switchy thing . Spot lights on the front are wired to use one as high beam & the other as low beam. Have wired the switch in so I have the choice of having both spot lights on for high beam if I want.
  16. Made a little bracket to hold the horn on. No front brake light switch on the brembo master cylinder so got a m10x1 double banjo pressure bolt. Fitted it rebled the system then one of the dowty washers let go squirting brake fluid over the clocks and lights fitted some copper washers the rebled it again. Fitted a back brake line from my stash and bled that through, although it did take 24 hours to let the air rise out of the system got most of the wiring working now but all needs tidying up.
