  2. this is not insurmountable, so just trying to get info that might clear things up! got my TMR 40's for inazuma GSX1200 fitment with inlet stubs of 46mm diameter at the inlet rubber seating area, so i assumed that was the size that was stock on the GSX12. having purchased a set from Germany i was looking forward to just bolting them on and carbs fitting. BUT when i saw the rubber i couldnt believe how narrow they were, so did a google search, seems like stock GSX12 has 32mm carbs, so the stock B12 rubbers i have are better and more up to the job. i can get the TMR stubs to fit the bandit rubbers but it will be a right bitch to get them seated on the bike. does anyone know if the Jap market GSX12 has bigger carbs as stock than the EU market? or why Mikuni fit 46mm inlet stubs to the TMR's for fitment on a bike with 36mm i/d rubbers? Anybody?

  7. would a set of gsx1200 inazuma inlet rubbers fit a Mk1 bandit head? any one ever tried my new TMR's are inazuma fitment, so the inlet stubs are 1mm larger than the bandit, they will fit but will be a fuck on, so thinking of getting some Zuma rubbers to stop the need for further pissing around.

  10. Get the bandit head skimmed to up the compression ? would have a Dot head to move on then
  11. Cheers for that dunc :), but not looking for "all out" top end power, I was going to fit the Bandit cams to keep the mid range so dont think i will have valve clearance probs.

Question for all the Knowledgeable people on here, If i still wanted to use a Dot head with 1216 Wiseco pistons for street application, could i use a bigger base gasket to lower the compression ratio, and if so how do you calculate the thickness required, and most importantly, where would i get one?

  14. 129700-4400 are what i have fitted, i have also used the 4510 which are the same length. here fitted to a bandit 6 motor

  16. I am just about to do a full Motogadget M-unit Basic fit (M-button and M-lock and wiring kit), but will be using OEM suzuki switches. havent started to do the fit yet though, going to wait till after i have had the 1216 kit fitted.
