    Flatslide woes

would hang revs no matter what i did, when i talked to Allens they said it was not un common for RS's with worn slide/body to do it
  3. Keep at it mate, the end is in sight
  4. now booked on for Sat inters 600-1300
  5. usually caused by over rich idle mixture
  6. twins worked well on my Keihin's when i had them fitted

  8. would have thought that they are petroleum resistant, due to the fact that they are in contact constantly with petroleum based products from the word go!
  9. Did mine yesterday (bandit) i just used a good application of normal grease, went in nice and easy, will see on start up how well it worked
  10. they are a fairly tight fit even without the grub screws
  11. I have used some very similar
  12. cheers mate, that is what i suspected! my inlet rubbers are 10mm longer than that (turnes out they are Mk2 bandit)
  13. yep, they are 12mm shotter than my Mk2 bandit rubbers, which might just answer why my TMR's wouldnt fit even if i shortened the inlet stubs down to their minimum. i have just ordered some GSXR1100 M/N inlet rubbers which take the 40mm carbs, plus i will get the inlets shortened by 20mm-25mm this pic made me wonder why TMR's went on to this bike, now i know
  14. from what i have been told GSXR1100 M inlet runners are "42.2mm bore and 37mm length" part No 131*0-41C0 i have MK2 bandit rubbers on my motor and they are 50mm long. part No JCO 34 N1* are Mk1 bandit rubbers shorter than 50mm? i need the short inlet rubbers to allow me to fit my TMR's without them hitting the generator !!!
  15. is there any inlet stubs for the oil cooled motor that are shorter (standoff distance) than standard Bandit 12 ones? are any of the GSXR ones shorter? I am needing some that are 10mm or more shorter
  16. cheers for that, another question for you please, how deep are they? ie distance from front engine mount to rear of rubber, as if i can get some inlet rubbers around 10mm shorter than the stock bandit ones i have it will cure all the fitment problems i have
  17. i had to stand on my head to read some of the pages though!!
  18. what year are the F
