  1. Cheers chaps, its going to take a while as no funds left at all, in fact I have to replace the £500 i "borrowed" from the wifes holiday fund I have an engine oil cooled of course, and a few bits but I am in need of a loom and some carbs.. And dose anyone have any idea how the fek to get that smelly watery cooled engine out, its sumps about 6 inches below the bottom rail??? Ill have to get 2 fat mates round and ply them with beer and lift the bugger I suppose.????
  2. Ill be getting rid of the engine, rad, carbs and modified loom.. it will need to be proper money as this is self funding ,, that is I have spent every penny on buying the 'arris so i need to sell stuff to pay for new stuff??? Or a swop of course
  3. Anyway, I had the day off, so instead of doing the stuff I need to do, ie put the bandit back together for the donnington track day in 2 weeks!!! I tried my spoked wheels I saved from my Mag2.....as the red wheel is a 750 4.5 incher i was a bit worried the 5.5 inch spokey one would nt fit... any way with a bit of jiggery pokery that will fit OK,,also raised the ride height back to that which a normal person would use it was dragging its arse on teh deck... I think this could be OK
  4. Its an 'arris F1 ........Just thought is this a project ort rick frame??? perhaps the Mods will decide and move me???
  5. im going to keep the reservior as a door stop or anchor for a small boat!! first thing pull the water colled 750 motor, any use to anyone?? just got to fit the oilly motor then??
  6. All i can afford to do at the moment is swop the engines and tart it up a bit then ride it to see if i will fit my fat arse on it.... It feel Tiny sitting on it the fairing is goinjg in the canal.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! there are some rally nice bits and some not so nice..
  7. It has the makings of a Money pit !!!!
  8. All those years ago!!! It was only july last year I sold it to Ash
  9. Cheers shipmate that's exactly what I was after
  10. Right you clever monkeys, anyone know the measurements of the exhaust port centres of an oily 1127 and a watery cooled 1074 engines please... Cheers fatbloke
  11. you nedd a mark 1 with mark 1 loom ,, mark 2's are differant, the plugs are diffrtsnt amd not iinterchangeable.
  12. Bandit is 200mm slingshot 225mm so couple of spaecrs and all is good..
  13. Looked into this afew years ago to change the wheels on my harris,,, if you just want straight spokes then mark 2 bandit 1200 wheels will drop in same spindles, bearings and most spacers are the same, disc offset is 2mm off but slingy discs fit. if you are after the 2007 wheels specifically then you need 600/750 rear as they are 5.5 inch, 1100 front brgs 20x47x14 rear 20x47x14 600/750 frnt 25x52x15 rear 28x52x12 so fronts needed are 20 x 52 x 15 which are 6304 rears 20 x 52 x 12 which are BB1B447205A then it gets complicated with the sprocket carrier so I gave up and fitted spoked wheels instead!!!!!!!!!!!!
  14. Only a fekin' submariner could think of that
