  1. I hate bodged electrics, soo mark 2 bandit loom and neutral switch and ignition pick up on a mark 1 engine, plug it all together and VOILA it livess, sort of

  3. teh seats actually a 750 m, the 'arris is tiny, i need to get a seat pad before i start any chopping the subframe about...
  4. set the angle of the swinger and tried another seat unit whilst im waiting for some bits, so i can try the engine and all the lectrics.. then got another system to try as well, but its pissing down here so i think ill lie on the sofa instead

Fitting the engine to the mag 2 was childs play compared to the F1 thingy But life would be boring if we did the easy things the easy,, I cant remember who it was, but some clever bugger on here years ago recommended using 10-15 degrees down angel of the dangle between the swinger pivot and rear wheel spindle, ive stuck to that and its worked well so far

Thats exactly the same frame as my old mag2, I put a 1216 oily engine, and at other times a b12 and a power screen engine in there, 5.5 inch rear and no issues with the chaiin run, i had to fit a plastic runner to the bottom frame tube as the chain just touched it when i sat my fat arse on it and went over a big bump and it unoladed the shock

Right been busy with real life stuff, weddings, old people, decorating you all know the routine, anyway got a couple of hours.. tried a few different cans i found inj the garage, had a look to see if the tank will shine up and fitted the coils. still not sure about the seat but as no money it will have to stay i think??

  13. yes, i had mark 2 electrics on my harris mag2, and had 3 different engines in it and used the same mark 2 ignition pick ups and rotor to keep it all plug and play, for the rest all you need to do is drill and tap a 6mm thread in the the output shaft to make the speedo rotor fit, use a mark 2 sprocket cover with pick up, a mk2 neutral switch as well will plug in, and i even got a mark 2 alternator so i didnt chop any plugs, needed the alternator drive gear swoping for the slabby one and it all worked.

  15. I would love to matey, but unfortunately the budget for this project is about 3 quid! if you let me know how much, if you are considering selling, then when I flog the arrows ill see if I can afford it. Im sure if the old 4-1 ive got goes on then a akrapovic will go as well
  16. Ive had 16 row on several Bandits with no problems, 7 I think... i have 19 row on my 1216 big bore and its been fine

  19. looks like t will ahyve to be the 4-1 as the arrow will not sit right as it touches the front oil cooler banjos?? I wont cut that link pipe down i will probably get one made so it all sits better????
  20. Well the arrow pipes touch the harris down pipes whatever I do as they are 2mm bigger diameter, so ill use the 4-1 as i dont want to cut the arrows system about, its worth too much as it is
  21. Anyone know of 65mm hole centres spaced footrest hangers???
  22. had a few hours and tried the exhaust options, the full arrows 4-2-1 looks best but dosent fit as well as the Micron 4-1, So opinions please 4 into 1 or 4 into 2 into 1... obviously the arrows can is wayyyy to long.................................
