  1. it looks right ,but always check , my bike had a mark on both parts in the center, I cant see on your , good luck.
  2. When I did my crank it looked almost like yours , and I took it to my local machine shop which I have been going to for years , and he said polishing will not take any material off it will just take the high spots off and polish it , I put all new bearings in that the bike came with color coded and numbers on the crank and block , and it came out perfect , but always plastic gage them , I did just to make sure.
  3. Ok the bike is up and running well sort of there is a rattle noise from idle to about 2500 rpm , so first I thought it was the cam chain , so I bought an Ape manual cam chain tensioner , installed that still has the rattle , I adjusted the mcct both ways as per APE still rattles , I made a video but you cant hear the rattle over the exhaust ,so next I started the bike and used my mechanic stethoscope and the noise was coming from the alternator area so I removed the ALT , I will post two video's one is of the bike running and the other video is of the alternator gear , and the video of the ALT gear you will see it moves back and forth with a magnet stuck to it , now I replaced every shim in the motor and the big washer / shim that's between the ALT gear and clutch I ordered brand new so I know that's right , and when I ordered it there was only one size so I know it cant be like shimmed or something right ? , and so now I made a alternator block off plate and I will start it this weekend , I spun the ALT and it spins freely but if I grab the damper drive right behind the gear on the ALT I can move it back and forth but probably only 0.35 mm can that make a rattle noise ? ok here's the two videos.

    wheel swap

looking for some info or someone who has done a wheel swap , my bike is a 1992 gsxr 1100 , and i want to put the 2007 straight spoke wheel both front and rear , here's the info i know my wheels are front 17 x 3.5 rear 17 x 5.5 , and both front and rear axle's are 20mm , and i think the 2007's axle's are 25mm , and i think they come in 3.5 front and both 5.5 and 6 rear,,, any info or help would be very much appreciated .
  5. ok I bought a new oem clutch pack for my 1992 gsxr 1100, and I need to know which way the wavy seat washer goes its curved and seems it can go either way , I will post pictures of what I'm talking about , I would not be asking all these questions if I took it apart but I bought it in egg crates all apart, oh and the manual does not say which way they go so maybe it don't matter , but I wont put it back together until I know , thanks again in advance . The very bottom picture is the way I think it goes .
